Looking for Pup

My son is 17 and loves to squirrel hunt. Says he would like to train his own pup. I have been raising and breeding beagles for 20 yrs and i know what goes into making a good hound but if this is something he is going to become passionate about and wants to try I will support him.

Would like a breed that stays around 25-30 lbs. Would like it to be a well bred pup with proven parents.. Thanks 7406108989 Located in Ohio and traveling to Berea Ky this weekend.
