Heat Cycle Question

So my female is due to be in heat. She is swollen but is having a clear puss type discharge, no odor to it. The dog acts fine and is not drinking excessively. She is going to the vet tomorrow. Just curious if anyone has experienced this? No otherwise symptoms of a pyometria.
