passing out flyers for hunting permission

has anybody tried this with any success? if so what info did you include and how many did you pass out vs getting new spots.

I think it could solve a few problems of someone not being home, not being the right person to talk to, scary them by knocking on the door, and also interrupting their time. I would include name phone and email for ways for them to respond then maybe some benefits of reducing coon population if they wished.
