DC 40 problem

hey everybody, i have a problem with one of my dc40 collars. the red light seems to have stopped working. the collar connects to the garmin and stays connected, and the blue charging light still works as it should, but the red light is not being illuminated at all. the only way i can tell if the collar has a signal or is turned off/on is by looking at the garmin and waiting for it to show whether its connected or not. Anybody have any suggestions on how to fix it?
