Garmin TT 10 Problem

When I received my new T5 there was information suggesting that I do a master reset on my old T10 collars. They were working ok at the time. I did the master reset by connecting them to the webupdater and pressing the collar switch 4 times.
The collars were deleted and added to the alpha unit, but they won't pickup the signal. The info screen shows ? on the battery. You can turnon the collar light, but no satellite signal.
Has anyone had this problem? How do I correct it?
