I have a female due to have a litter of pups in a couple of weeks just looking for any ideas to help keep her and the pups warm. I have a barn to keep her in was thinking of making an insulated box about 4' by 4' and possibly a heat lamp of sorts she would be confined to a horse stall. Any thoughts would be appreciated pros and cons. Thank you for any input.
