tri-tronics bark limiter help

Battery died in it. Changed it out and it shows a solid red light on level 1 and 2. I try to hold in the power button to shut it off or change to a higher setting and it won't do anything! We have had nothing but bad luck with these collars. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
