Cur or Feist ???

Interested in getting something to strictly make a squirrel dog to hunt when riding mules. Want a dog that's silent on track. What is usually the easiest started ??? Also want something that doesn't hunt wide. Maybe around 200 yards max. Suggestions of different bloodlines that may suit me. Thanks
