Garmin DC40 Help

I have a dc40 that was working fine and now won't turn on. The collar will charge and the blue light does come on the collar but once I take it off the charger it will not turn on. Does anyone have any suggestions on trouble shooting this or has had this happen before to them? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
