In recent days I have seen a lot of support from the coon hunting community as a whole. My best and only trained hound was shot and dumped on the side of the road on Saturday December 29, 2012. Since then I have had many people offer to let me hunt their hounds so that my season is not completely at an end and many others have offered to sell hounds that they normally would not really want to sell. The compassion and comraderie that I have found in the Coon Hunting community has been overwhelming and very appreciated. It makes me proud to be a coon hunter and even prouder of those who have offered help. Even though I dont have the cash at this moment I have a lot of choices as to which dog I will get to replace my cherished deceased hound. I am extremely greatful for all the offers and support and just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has made offers. If you have made an offer or have something to offer please pm me on here so that I may keep in touch with each one of you. Hopefully I will have a decision made in the next few weeks as to which hound I may purchase. I am definitely set on a Walker or Bluetick, but the decision is hard based on the ability of those offered.
