Maddie the Coonhound

According to Wikipedia, the Coonhound, is a "highly valued" American style of hunting dog. They can sniff out practically any prey imaginable, have GPS-comparable tracking skills and come in an array of stylish colours. They also often have webbed toes, which must come in handy for snorkelling. However, until now most were unaware of the Coonhound's most valuable asset, i.e. THEY CAN GO PLANKING.

Dubbed as "a super serious project about dogs and physics", Maddie The Coonhound started when one man dared to put his amazing dog where no amazing dog had ever gone before. As you do. What started out with everyday household objects - couches, tree stumps, and park benches - has since evolved, with the dog's conquests on Tumblr now including pylons metres high up in the air and the inner tubing of trucks. All of it is fabulous.

We're not exactly sure if Maddie enjoys planking per se, but judging by the constant smug grin on her face (yes, dogs can smile and don't let anybody ever tell you otherwise) we'd be inclined to say she is loving herself silly. More pressing is a query we have of her owner: how exactly do you get Maddie to climb up objects, stay the **** still, and smile?!? Owners of small children may also be intrigued in this answer.
