Pit Bull Rescue?

I know this isn't exactly the right place for this. But I was wondering about it since there are so many people who seem to be Pit Bull enthusiasts here on the UKC message boards. Does anyone know anything about Pit Bull Rescue societies. I live in Colorado, and they've already banned Pit Bulls from Denver and I know that perhaps about half the dogs at the shelter where I volunteer are Pit Bulls and I was wondering if maybe someone knew about a Rescue society in Colorado, or if they know perhaps how someone could go about starting one. I'm sorry for putting this here as I know it's not quite the right place for such things. Thank you. ~Molly
