the pill

Can any one tell me how to get the pill are something to do to keep dog from comeing in season with out taken them to vet and paying and arm and leg just to get the medication and I no it aint good for them I'm aware of it I've heard good and bad I just wondering if there a way to get it with out going to vet and what may be the best one thanks for help
