INDIANA TREEDOGS will be putting on seminars at the DEER AN TURKEY EXPO (schedule)
With great pride and encouragement the Hoosier Tree Dog Alliance will not only have a booth at the Huge Deer and Turkey Expo on Feb 19, 20 and 21st at the Indiana State Fair Grounds ( the expo runs in conjunction with the Sports Boat And Travel Show also and you can visit the rest of the venue with your ticket to the expo also, it literally would take all day to see everything) but we have also been invited to put on our demonstrations with our beloved tree dogs in the Demonstration Area (DA). HTDA will have a famous and special guest with us for the obedient part--- None other than Elvis, yes Elvis will be coming from Kentucky to spend the weekend with us. We also will try to have every breed of tree dog to have a tree dog parade for all to see the different types of treedogs in our sport. I am making some calls to see about some top notch bench show people in the HTDA to bring their hounds to demonstrate the Bench Show. I am also looking to see who has some classy on the wood tree dogs that will tree a coon hide with scent on it so the audience will see how our dogs tree. We will talk about our hunting equip and how will keep in control of our tree dogs. I am looking for HTDA members that would like to be a part of this, whether you want to work the booth for an hour or help set up and set down the demo each day. Our schedule is going to be on the DA show for a 1 hour program her is our schedule each day.
Friday at 3:30pm
Saturday at 5pm
Sunday at 11:30 am
Some of the other dog groups will have 2 shows a day, with a good performance and demonstration lets work on getting 2 shows a day next year. We need to educate not only the general public but also the general hunting public as well and this will be a great opportunity. Thanks and if you can help or have any questions please call me at 317-946-5216.
