New hound

I brought home a one year old bluetick hound from Iowa. I am worried a little because he aint eating yet.I picked him up Thursday, hasnt eating since..... They guy I bought him from gave me a bag of food and he still wont eat. He seems fine, wagging his tail and so on. Any Ideas?
