Good morning everyone

corky here's some news for you...got charged with reckless use of a firearm Friday in the hunting accident. Game Warden stated that we did nothing unlawful but he felt it was an accident that could have been avoided. Now I ask you what accident couldnt have been avoided? Anyway we got to go to court in Jan. guess i better talk to the lawyer alittle more...best thing is Amber is doing well and getting better everyday. Going to take my nephew to the woods this afternoon, hope he gets a big one, or a little one we aint going to be to picky today.

looks like rain is going to set in tonight for a day or so, we could use it there is a couple of forest fires close by that I know those guys would love to see so rain

Keep it up Bond old Blue might just pull all the red off that dog one night...LOL

David

Good Morning

Cloudy, round 50 now... supposed to get a bit of rain tonight and some in the next couple days... not too bad for this time of year here. Was PERFECT walking weather this am. Web and I tracked all sorts of cool things and the GRAND Prize today was HORSE poop! LOL... I was VERY proud of him since he had NO desire to eat it! I had a long weekend off from walking him and I have to admit it made my day to get out there today... I love this stupid dawg....
David, good luck in the woods today and in the courts... Hope you all get the rain you need too!

Later, Gators, Heather

My granddad hunted red dogs way back when I was a youngster had a pair of pups he raised I would play with them all day but they both got killed at a little over a year old on a sheep killing bear up in Burkes Garden

If you have never been in the Garden you need to go they call it the thumb print of god its the highest valley in VA

My Dad bought his first reg dog back in 69 every walker dog I have goes back to that dog thats how I got started hunting walker dogs but I have always had a soft spot for a red dog

Due you remember the red dog Norman Woods had named Willie If I had to name 5 of the best dogs I ever hunted with Willie would be one of the 5 thats how I came up with the name Willow for the red dog I am hunting now

But I am only up to my ankles on the RED DARK SIDE I still have them WALKERS

Morning! 60 and raining here. We have gotten about 7/10 so far. That's a help. Been lax on my message board duties. Just been keeping myself occupied with this and that. Going through the pictures we took Sunday cleaning up and deleting. We are just now getting our fall color. Some of it shows in some of the pictures. I need to get out and take some before all the leaves fall off.

Mornin, had little over 2 inches at 7 o'clock this morning. Still getting showers. No bad weather yet, haven't even heard any thunder. Suppose to stay through the day.

Kelly come on down to the W-C. Weather will be cold or wet or both, always is lol.

lol, it will put some water in it, but as dry as it is it will take alot more. This ought to help with hunting. I have been putting water out fot the last month or so. 55 gal. drums cut off, will hold 15 or so gals. Sunday 1 was bone dry, which deer, squirrels ect drink from them along with coons.
