Not sure if the meds are upsetting him or what but he isn't eating normal. Thats not like him at all.

Here are some recent pictures I took of Anna on her day off yesterday. She is doing well. She will be leaving for Africa with me on August 1st. We will miss her here terribly. The bottom picture with the girl in it is the Kenyan unit supervisor that came from Africa last month to learn to work Anna. She is also the unit veterinarian who will be taking care of Anna and the other K9s in Kenya. She just fell in love with her......

Mara (the other majestic) went to her new home in OK last week after dog school. Her new handler is a very nice deputy from a small Sheriffs department. He spent 7 days here at our school learning to work Mara and was very impressed with her ability as a green tracking dog. She did great. They just loved her and she is wonderful with his young daughter. I will try and send a picture of her if he sends some. Both dogs are doing what they love..... : )

This is "Anna" and her Kenyan Handler/Vet.

The work that Anna will be doing is Tracking Poachers to their Homes or Hinding Place. She has been in a very extensive Training Program in Co. at the K-9 Training Acad.

A Side Note: I believe Blu carries a very strong dominance in what he throws mostly in the Drive to Catch and Bidability which joined with the Bloodhound traits of Bidability.

Boy finished to show champion this evening. Kinda wished I'da hunted Jiggs tonite, I believe he would have made something happen in the storm.

Amy is is in San Diego this weekend visiting friends so I am stuck home on daddy duty. At first I was a little ticked I couldn't go to troy but now I think I owe her one. Hope everyone is safe. Been there and hunted in that crap a few times and it isn't always fun.

The storm blew through well before the hunt started and was a nice nite other than a lil wind. I needed to find a coon on a split to win my cast but couldn't get it to look. That and the 25 I missed out on when a cast member treed my dog.

A few years ago at this hunt we hunted in some major down pours most of the night. It was pretty crappy. That stinks about not winning your cast. How many dogs were there and who all got in.

Took Jiggs and Boy for a short run last nite. Boy treed a den and Jiggs covered. My 5 year old went along so we cut em one more time and couldn't get anything else going so the first chance we got we caught em and headed home.

Gonna hunt Jiggs at Warsaw friday nite if my boy doesn't have to play ball. If he does I have to help coach cause my dad's band has to play in Mt. Pleasant that nite so he won't be there to coach.

My anniversary party is saturday so I won't be hunting anywhere. Bad thing is my boy's ball tournament is saturday also, didn't realize it was the same weekend until the other day. There will be some jockeying if they advance.

Good job steve and jiggs. Won't be long now and Devil Creek will have another nt ch in the kennel. Gotta love getting those text messages at 2 in the morning. Never fails amy asks what was that and I'll follow it up with "sweet so and so got a win" and she'll roll over with a big ugly sye. She just doesn't seem to get the same satisfaction from that as I do.
