PRAY THEN HAVE PATIENCE

DID YA EVER WONDER WHY?

WHY DOES GOD LOVE US? WHEN I ASKED GOD INTO MY LIFE AT THAT TIME I WASNT A VERY GOOD PERSON,DID THINGS THAT I SHOULDNT,SAID THINGS I SHOULDNT ,THOUGHT THINGS I SHOULDNT,,ALL OF THE THINGS GOD DIDNT WANT ME TO DO,AFTER MANY YEARS OF UPS AND DOWNS GOOD TIMES AND BAD TIMES ,I STILL DIDNT HAVE THAT SOMETHING IN MY LIFE ,I FELT SOMETHIN WAS MISSIN AND THERE WAS,THAT THING WAS GOD.WHEN I ASKED HIM INTO MY LIFE I THOUGHT EVERYTHING WOULD BE PERFECT ALL THE TIME,THINGS SHOULDNT EVER GO WRONG,PLENTY OF MONEY, HAPPINESS ALL THOSE THINGS AND I WOULD NEVER DO THINGS WRONG THAT I SHOULDNT,BUT I WAS WRONG,,,,MY LIFE HAS CHANGED ,MANY THINGS IN MY LIFE LEFT ME AND I DONT DO THEM ANYMORE,THINGS THAT ONLY GOD COULD OF CHANGED.BUT ONE THING THAT I STILL DO IS SIN.AS HARD AS I TRY,I STILL SIN,I HAVE EVEN SAID IM GONA TRY TO GO A COUPLE HOURS WITHOUT SINNING,BEING HONEST WITH YOU THATS EVEN HARD TO DO...BUT THERES ONLY ONE THING THAT WE HAVE GOING FOR US,,,{{{ GOD FORGIVES US CAUSE HE KNOWS WE ARE BUT HUMAN AND LIVE IN A EVIL SIN SATURATED WORLD.}{ ROMANS 8:1-2 THERE IS NOW NO CONDEMNATION FOR THOSE WHO ARE IN CHRIST JESUS,BECAUSE THROUGH CHRIST JESUS THE LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE SET ME FREE FROM THE LAW OF SIN AND DEATH.}{PSALM 32:5 I ACKNOWLEDGED MY SIN TO YOU AND DID NOT COVER UP MY INIQUITY.I SAID,"I WILL CONFESS MY TRANSGRESSIONS TO THE LORD "---AND YOU FORGAVE THE GUILT OF MY SIN.}{EPHIESIANS 2:4-5 BECAUSE OF HIS GREAT LOVE FOR US, GOD, WHO IS RICH IN MERCY,MADE US ALIVE WITH CHRIST EVEN WHEN WE WERE DEAD IN OUR TRANSGRESSIONS---IT IS BY GRACE YOU HAVE BEEN SAVED }}..ASK GOD INTO YOUR LIFE TODAY,GET A CHANGE OF LIFE ,START LIVING THE BEST OF YOUR LIFE NOW ...GOD LOVES YAS ,WE LOVE YAS ,HAVE A BLESSED DAY,YOUR FRIEND IN CHRIST,, FROM THE RIVERBOTTOM ,,RON

Thought I would share a verse that touched me this morning. Proverbs 4:23 Above all else, Guard your heart for it is the well spring of life. This was in a book I am reading and it is short and to the point. God's Blessings to all that are continuing his good work.

Phillipians 4:8

As a new Preacher, people have asked me so many things, and the only way I know to answer them is to look to the Bible. One member of the Church asked me if it was ok (not a sin) for him to drink beer, he told me it would be wrong (a sin for me) to drink beer. One said since he is a sinner saved by grace it was ok to go out with other women (he is a married man) so I try to read 1 corinthians Ch. 6 vs 9-11 to him. [9] Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
[10] Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
[11] And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
Do any of you preachers have any advice for me? Or am I wrong in telling them (the members) that God is not pleased with his children (christains) when they live a sinful life. Most of them (the ones wanting to do sinful things) tell me they are not perfect. Then I try to tell them about what Jesus said in Matthew 7 13-14 [13] Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
[14] Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
And again in Luke Ch. 13 v 24] Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
What about Matthew 7: 21-27
[21] Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
[22] Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
[23] And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
[24] Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
[25] And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
[26] And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
[27] And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
I know the only way to be saved is by believing in Jesus Christ(John 10:[9] I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. I know this has been long, but I had to ask. Thanks and God bless you all.

Thanks Brothers Ron and Brad. I have one more thing that I need everyone's prayers with. After church Sunday one of the ladies at Church was waiting for me out side in the parking lot, we talked for a few minutes and she told me that she wanted to be saved, I told her the plan of salvation, 1 Timothy 1:[15] This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; Romans 3:10 and 23, [10] As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: [23] For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 5:8,9 [8] But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. [9] Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
Luke 13:[3] I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
John 3:[16] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Romans 10:8-13 [8] But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
[9] That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

she told me that I made it sound easy, but she just did not know, she thought she was holding on to something, we had prayer right there in the parking lot, but she still was holding back, I asked God to show here/ help her to understand that all she has to do is repent and believe that Jesus paid our sin debt, that we could not save ourselves. If anyone can give me some help on this PLEASE DO. I do not know what else to do. Thanks and God bless.
