Chuck I have ask people to show me what ginsing looks like and they said look it up and start getting it. Nobody doesn't want to show you anything. As for as Gold wouldn't have the slightest idea where to start down this far in Southern Illinois.

[/ Mike this is what your looking for ,,, Need to do some panning tomorrow if the weathers fit ,,,lol
There is an Island down here that has some Trifoliums on it. They are so special that nobody can build doodally on that Island. A brick chimney remains close to the patch of Trifoliums which is an Historic Monument in somebodies head because Sherman burnt it down. Also close to it is several"toothache" trees which were also transplanted (just in my opinion) and to top it all off in my head is a bunch of Rasp?- something looks and smells some like garlic or onions. This alltells me some body transplanted the daggum patches of stuff from the BLUE Ridge Mountains probably when it was fashionable then, as is today, to get the H out of this heat in the summer and head north bound. However, If somebody does not want to believe that people would move useful plants around in the 1800' s then they can make themselves believe that those plants were somehow indidginous to this region and make construction off limits. Just another of my rants. Hang on, I think the word I was looking for about them onion/garlick things was Rants. Ya'll familiar with Rants? Been looking but have never found a Gensing around here yet. How about Rants though? Could they be hard to move? Somettimes I find a mound of oystershells 30 miles from the Coast and when I gets to digging round I find a bunch of BudWeieser cans in the hole tooo. LOL?
ain't raining yet but its knocking on the door..I would say 100% chance..

GOOD MORNING !!
How are you Rex ?? How is everyone today ?? I think Lyle was wanting to know about RAMPS ,,,
Good morning all raining here and thundering sounds like I'll be doing inside chores today. Lyle is this trifolium your talking about a type of clover and know I've never heard of rasp. You can get ginseng from seed companys and grow your own takes about six years to get it big enough to cultivate and sell. Have been reading the vote 2012 forum it's quite a discussion. Kid didn't see any deer yesterday but I saw 2 up the lane last night. He probably won't work today he may brave the elements and go today.
Raining here this morning. Temp. are going to drop also.

Mike I'm with you don't like football but end up watching sometimes because TD does. Was watching one time and a team was playing with black and yellow uniforms I asked him who the bumble bees were and I thought he was going to fall off his chair. Rex there is a guy at my church who went to the Cardinal playoff 7 game with his son and grandson when he came back you would have thought he won a million dollars had the time of his life.
Poured rain from Newton Il. to Washington In. this mornin'. Seen 2 big coon the last two mornin's not to far from the house. But the dang moon is startin' too come up earlier each nite. Seen a buck tendin' a doe this mornin' on the praire.
We have a meeting Monday night and a PKC hunt Tuesday night of next week. Finally stop raining here. Down to 41 degrees and a calm wind.
