u and me both, went up a big hill the other night, it was about 500 yards to the top with 2 inches of snow on it.( they must have to pipe sunlight into that holler) i made it 3/4 the ways up and had to stop, the other boys went on and shot the coon out. this winter has really got me out of shape.

pups

not much to do today, got and and messed with some pups, there 6 and 7 months old. first time they have ever been messed with. the 2 blue ones is littermates out of spot and a hot shot/rooster female. and the black tick is out a spot and a nick/woodstock female. pics didn't turn out to good.

what a hunt

turned loose about 9 oclock, spot struck an old grubbing track and worked it around there a little while. went out of hearing drove up the road. when we got stopped we got out and could hear them down the hollar grubbing a track, got in the truck and listened to the uk game a while. got out and listened, they went out of hearing, drove to the end of the road and couldn't hear them.drove around to another road, heard them still grubbing the track threw the country. got back in the truck and listen to the game somemore. got out and we started easing toward them mutt came treed, spot backed him. got close to them and seen they was treed up a little tree, thought for sure they had a slick. got to them and there was the coon, tied the pup up and tried to shake it with no success. so we popped him, **** thing fell out and hit my pup. he shuck it off and done good. that track lasted 1 hour and went 2 miles!!!!

No the weather has me shut down need to build parking lot if it's not snow its rain oh well maybe someday..hunt/fishing trip sounds good to me any tyme you are ready I am ready river is flooded out big time right now!!
