I went to work this morning, we had to take a couple of school buses to get worked on, 1 to the transmission shop Jackson-Breathit and 1 to Whayne Supply in Hazard, Ky. for warranty work. Had a great meal at Ponderosa, got home and went to my sister-in-law's and wired two outlets, had a couple bowls of home cooked pinto beans (soup beans as I like to call them) they had that good thick soup in them, anyway I just wanted to say our God is great.
Psalms 118 [24] This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

I will be at Lilly Grove Baptist Church on Morning Glory in Clay Co. (KY) this morning, and hopefully if it's God's will every Sunday morning. Hebrews 10:[25] Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Every one needs to go to Church this morning and worship and praise the God of heaven for all he has done for us. We need to pray for the lost, and pray for the men and women over sea's that is fighting for our freedom!

prayer for brother Ron.

My prayers are with you Brother Ron. My family still needs your prayers too. I didn't get the job I thought that I needed. It wasn't in God's plan. I am not sure what we are going to do now. Things are crazy for us. My faith is strong tough. God has a plan, even though I may not know what it is. I am trusting him to supply our needs. I was studying His word and came across Hebrews 11. The Hall Of Fame of Faith if you will. I was thinking about how much faith i actually have. How does it compare to that of Noah, Abraham, or Moses just to name a few. Could I build an Arc even though the Earth had never seen rain? Wow that was not a small vessel. It was three football fields long. they were on there for more than a year. God caused a deep sleep to fall over the animals. God told Noah to build it. He would take care of the rest. All of his freinds mocked him and did not believe. But Noah and his family were taken care of. Wow makes me wonder how strong is my faith really?

1Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. 2This is what the ancients were commended for.
3By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. 4By faith Abel offered God a better sacrifice than Cain did. By faith he was commended as a righteous man, when God spoke well of his offerings. And by faith he still speaks, even though he is dead.

5By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death; he could not be found, because God had taken him away. For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God. 6And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

I hope these verses will help someone as they have helped me.

keeping the fire lit

in Leviticus it tells about the Priests have to keep the eternal flame lit at the tabernacle. This was a symbol of the eternal GOD.
His eternal love and guidance for us. He told them to keep it lit always. Everyone could see the fire. There is a fire in each one of us to serve him. Do you keep stoking everyday or do you let it get rained on or smothered out? This is a brief description of what the flame meant and how they kept it lit day in and day out. But it is a serious question that we have to answer everyday. Will you keep God's fire lit and serve him? Have a blessed day.

JOHN 8: 31-32
