Just got some sad news, my friend Randall Powell just text me to let me know that BAWL's mother....GR.NT.CH. RIVER BOTTOMS MIDNITE LADY died today...

Lady gave me one of the best hounds I have ever owned and helped me make some new friends in Texas. I know she will be missed, but thanks to her reproducing efforts, she will not be forgotten.

Lady, looked like, sounded like and acted like a coonhound should, by far the best handling hound I have ever seen. BAR NONE.. R.I.P. ole' Gal... You will be missed...

Not sure, tried to call Randall, his text said they thought it was a heat stroke.. I think she was 5 or 6 years old. I am sure he will call sometime. I will let you know.

Me and BAWL looked like crap at the showcase, if you need something treed in a cherry tree then call us... We know how to tree in them better than any hound I have ever seen. If they have a Cherry Treeing World Championship then we are all in... Enjoyed meeting everyone..

Just got a call from Willie Thrift of Pavo Ga. he is huntng DEAD ON MUSKET (BAWL X HOPE) for me... ...He let me listen over the phone to MUSKET blowing the top out on the frist coon he saw in South Georgia.. Thanks Willie, we are looking forward to great things out of MUSKET....

I want to thank Guage Richardson for purchasing the last pup out of BAWL X KATE.... Good Luck with him Guage..

Talked to Gary Don Melton today, he has 2 females out of BAWL X LOU both are running and treeing their own coons at less than a year old. They are only 5 pups alive out of this litter and I have got great reports on 3 of them. One of them was ran over and has a bad back leg... no word on the other one.

Bawl X Hope pups are coming on strong as well, they are 7 months old and starting to get the same type of reports on some of them. My pup out of this cross "DEAD ON MUSKET" is at Willie Thirfts place in south Ga. Willie says he is one of the best acting pups he has ever had on the place and turning it on with some cage and turn loose coons..

Everyone who has purchased a BAWL pup... Thank You... Good Luck.. and Keep me posted on their progress...

Hunted Gr.Nt.Ch.Gr.Ch. Joes Hardtime Kate in her first hunt sense coming off of the pups out of BAWL. Got her qualified at and RQE in Georgia. 7 dogs got in last night and I think 4 of them were English... See you guys at Elberton, Ga. Zone.

Made it down to Georgia for the zones, had a fun hunt with Jason Bullard and Willie Thrift last night, those boys make you feel right at home, dont miss a chance to hunt with them if you get it. Thanks Guys for carrying me and BAWL to the swamps.

Good Luck to all the English dogs at the Zones this weekend, I hope we all make it to Ohio....
