Logans oldest litter is 4 or 5 now. I think he had 76 pups last I saw and had 2 or 3 NiteCh's and 2 or 3 with wins. I have a couple here I will be permanantly Registering and will know when that is done.

Cotton

Scott and Rick Cotton looked really good last night. She struck her first track at 600yds. Got him treed over a mile. Next drop she struck a running coon and took him over a mile thru these swamps and had the coon. He jumped out and she caught him on the ground quick. She is really coming on and making a nice one. Gone take her to Reform Friday night to a UKC hunt and see what I can get done. Have a good one guys and good luck with your hounds. Yall got some nice ones. Also we got Blitz back and he looked good last night too. Just needs soem hard hunting. Darren

Congrats to Derek and Shine for another win towards GrNite. Keep up the good work. Shine is out of the first cross of Logan and Belle. Same cross as Cotton that Darren Hollis has. Belle will be heading back to Alabama next week by Rick's.

Shine split behind the other dogs and had a coon last night. Its easy when the dog dont take any minus and trees coon behind the other dogs.

Cotton

Scott, me and Cotton couldnt get a break Friday night at Reform. She took an old bad track and moved it out while two walkers were mopping around trying to figure out where the coon went. Cotton got deep about 800yds and got treed. One of the walkers had treed and we were looking his tree. He had treed on it three times and left it. Got to Cotton and she was on a huge oak and couldnt find my coon. I know she had him but just couldnt see it. Turn out again and all dogs tree up cedar tree circle. Last turnout had 17 minutes left. took second strike and Cotton again took lead on the track. 1 minute and 12 seconds after hunt ran out Cotton loaded up on the wood, coon seen!! Just a little too late. Headed to Good Springs to a UKC RQE hunt and show this weekend. We will try again. Darren

Logan x Cami pups

Thought you should know while I was getting ready to train some older dogs this morning I had a caged coon in front of the house while I was getting things ready in back of the house. I could hear my two Logan x Cami pups barking and I went around the house and there they were, they discovered the caged coon and were barking at it. I have never seen pups at this young age act like they were 6 months old. Very impressed!!!
They will be 10 weeks tomorrow.

I will attempt to load video and or pics.

Bob and Scott glad you like your pups. It was the guys that owned the pups off of the first litter that may m decide to go this way again. I have two here at the farm and I really like them. Good acting with looks to boot.

John good seeing you down at Bluetick days had a good time as always and got to see some guys I had not seen in years.

Logan is doing good he surely has some nice young dogs out there and hope to see a few more coming up.

Happy Memorial Day to everyone and a special thanks to those of you that have served our country in the armed forces. I spent my service in the USMC in the late 70's and early 80's. Seems like yesterday.

Hey Scott, there was a guy at the RQE hunt at Goodsprings that had a littermate sister to Cotton. He says she is really nice and he got her qualified for the world hunt that night. Ole LOGAN is throwing some nice ones for sure. He will have some nice ones showing up at the hunts and shows. Gone get ole Cotton back on track as soon as she goes out of heat. Thanks for the info on the female down at the RQE. That has been a really good cross that Rick made on Logan and Belle. Lots of good dogs in that pedigree. Some really nice females out of that cross that have done some winning. Hope to see that Logan blood carried on for generations to come.
I got a pair of pups here out of Logan and Cami and they are as nice as any I have ever had here.

Ole Cotton goes out this week. Hope to get her tuned in and ready to hit some hunts. I could tell she was out of commission. She just finds a way to get one treed no matter where or the conditions you set her down!! Hope everything is going good for yall. Rick are you working all the time! Good luck with Cotton, she sure sounds alot like her dad. Logan always seemed to find one somewhere too. Ol'Logan is getting older everyday. He will be 9 in a couple of months. Sure hope he holds on for years to come.

I do most of my hunting ( When I have time from work) where
we went the night you brought Frost Bite down years ago. We have more work going on than we ever have due to all the rebuilding from the Tornado 2 years ago. We will try to get together for a hunt soon.
