we did not win our cast, only hunted one night, we only treed one coon a male dog won with the one coon, shelly and a walker female was split and got circled, we had another circle tree later, that time of year, hard to find coons, if they had him, hunting her in a local hunt at woodlawn,AR. this weekend, maybe have some luck there, Brought back a wacker female from pauls for Cheyenne in Alabama, man she is a great acting pup, good mouth and can really lay the hammer down chop every breath, I have been trying to squeze her out of cheyenne but hes not budging lol.....Gerald

I kept a littermate female to that pup. I took her out a couple of times. she goes out hunting she just doesn't know what for yet. There is a male litter mate in Iowa that split from the old dog second night in the woods. they just turned 7 months,I think if they get hunted they should make it.

Hunt update

hunted shelly last night at woodlawn, she looked good held a tree the other dogs left to go 20 yards to another tree one dog was treed on , won our cast and pickedup a second place win 100+ no minus 250 circle, she needs one more cast win and we will be on the hunt for a grnt title.......gerald

That's awesome. It makes me proud to see Wacker's making an impact. Mad Dog North had a good weekend too at or BBCHA hunt. Guy Dehne won King of show and hunt, Jody Koehler won Queen of show and hunt, and I won the GRNITECH cast.

ya that,s the beauty of team Mad Dog. we joke around with each other, but when push comes to shove, I,d rather one of our team members win before I do,It,s just as rewarding, however the breed it,s self is the big winner, I,m just having fun along the way and that,s what,s it,s really about.....Gerald

hunt update

hunted shelly at Humphrey Ar. ukc hunt last night, should have finished to ntch , a male dog was treed and the 5 ran out on his tree Shelly fell treed were I thought was with him, tree was closed so I did not tree her another male fell treed with her he treed him, when we got in there she actually had split treed from the dog with the closed tree about 25 yards, he was circled, shelly and the other male had the meat he got points because he treed and I did not because I did not tree her thinking she was on a dead tree, she was shut out on strike, bad mistake, the male won the cast with 100+ if I would have went ahead and treed shelly she would have won the cast with 125+ she had no minus the male had a 100- and ended up 100+, tough learning lessons you already know, I let Shelly down she should be a ntch this morning....Gerald

Congrats to Deric MCclain with Arnolds blue buster, good job handeling and buster looked good.
