The fact is year after year the SEC has beaten "the best team in the NCAA." Ohio State, Texas, etc. All proved to be nothing but over rated teams and got beat. The SEC is accustomed to playing high powered teams and having to give 100% or get blown away. Part of the strategy for scheduling for every team is to get their conference games won to better their rank and schedule easier non-conference games to fill in the schedule, the thinking there being why take a chance on losing if you don't have to. The SEC is one of the few (if not the only) that has 4+ powerhouse teams almost every year making their conference games some of the hardest they will play. Boise is in a small conference with nobody teams for the most part, they schedule easy games (usually) for non conference (always exceptions to this rule such as Tennessee and Oregon) and their in-conference games are also some of the easier games if they want some respect they need to change conferences and play your big national championship contending schools like Florida, Texas, UT, UGA, Oklahoma, Florida State, Miami, Ohio State, someone with a reputation.

Todd,,, michigan state is NOT GOOD. NOT EVEN CLOSE TO GOOD. They have a much weaker schedule then Boise or TCU. They are about to get beat by Iowa and Iowa is far from great.

To be honest Michigan State has a tougher schedule than Boise. Iowa is better than anyone Boise will play all year.

Not sure where you are getting your numbers but Boise's opponents do not have a 600 winning percentage, in fact they are well below 500

Fact is there are 6 top teams that are very close in ability. Boise is the only team I have watched DOMINATE every team every quarter they have played this year. Virginia tech is a top team. Boise dominated them. Auburn and Oregon will blow it. Wait and see, the bcs won't have any chioce but to put Boise in the title game. I got news for you the SEC sure isn't great this year.

If Boise were undefeated in the ACC - Big 10 - SEC where they actually played a tougher schedule they might be something to brag about in my opinion. If AU or Alabama finish with one loss and Oregon goes undefeated Boise want get a shot at the championship.

Matt,,, you said it yourself! If it ain't an SEC team it doesn't deserve a shot at the title because nobody out of the SEC is a worthy team according to you . Can't help but notice you're from Alabama. Boise would crush Alabama just like Utah crushed them a couple years back.

I hope Boise gets a shot at a REAL football team. They do not need a rematch with TCU but it would'nt suprise me. The BCS gods will reveal the match up's in a few weeks.

Personally I hope to see Boise go all the way. I'm getting sick of going to SEC webpages or SEC team facebook pages and seeing the Boise hopefuls bashing teams, when it comes down to it Boise hasnt been tested yet they have 3 ranked teams in their schedule. Yes, I will admit they are consistent but that isnt the argument right now the argument is they dont have the talent needed to compete with the top teams, 2 undefeated seasons is something to be proud of but looking at it Virginia Tech was the toughest game they had and they squeezed a win out of it, just barely they cant play with the Alabama or Auburn for that matter who I feel is the most over rated team in the SEC. Like I said IF Boise gets into the national championship I will be glad to see it because an SEC team will be there waiting to slam the door in their face.
