Them are some nice pics

Not everyday you get the chance to see africa at its best! Got a chance to see some west exas game pretty close the other day but didnt have a camera. We were looking for a run away cow in a bout 8000 acres of wide open rode up on some antelope got within bout 100 yards. Wow they are quick!

Sorry we been out of touch for so long havent been on here for a while. Hope everyone is doin great and gettin ready for hunting season!

Good thing I had a couple good hounds to find their way home!

No really we have just been busy working and chasing kids sports! I did get my first delivery of dog food a week ago. 4000 lbs in bulk for 300 dollars!!! Wow that is a bunch of food!

Just got in today from sending Belle with her new family. They are great people with a couple kids that love dogs. They had to get rid of their mini pin and wanted something to ease the pain of there boys. I think it was a good match. They fell in love with her and she really seemed to like them.

Here's the Story Of "Mara's" (Anna's Sister) Find

MAYES COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT K9 TEAM TRACKS DOWN LOST ELDERLY MAN:
Deputy Mike Reedand his Bloodhound Mara went to on 09/24/10 at 0600. At 1030 am He got a call for an 83 year old man with Alzheimer's that had walked away from his home. The trail was 3 hours old by the time Mike and Mara arrived on scene. Its was 80 degree's and hot dry. 15 mins into the search Mara cut the missing mans track 1/4 mile from his house and tool took Mike straight to the missing man who was lost in the forest another another 1/4 mile away. The man was tired and thirsty, but alive. Mike called for air support and lifted the man
out safe and sound.

Congratulations Deputy Mike Reed and K9 Mara for a job well done!. Mara was trained by the Canine Training Academy and purchased by the Mayes County Sheriff's Department in Oklahoma in April of 2010. Mike attended our April 2010 training class at the Canine Training Academy. It was Mara's very first deployment since the team grautated from the class in April. AWESOME!......

Aparently Belle is settling in very nice! She has learned to play football and runs several miles a day beside their youngest boy tj while he rides his bike. She has also figured out how to open the front door and let herself inside!

Took the family to the Bennett/Smith Ho-down this weekend.....and we had a blast.....Perfect weather, great food, lots of fun for all the kids....
I was able to get a pic of 4 out of 7 pups from my litter earlier this year..... The pups are just about to turn 6 months old.....

Can you believe how Tall Hank has gotten........good lord.....He towered over his brother and sisters..... When he grows into them long legs, he's gonna be a big boy for sure....

Well sounds like you had a wonderful weekend!

We did also. My wife and I and the kids went to some friends in oklahoma. Managed to pick up some hunting ground up there. says there are a bunch of coon and plenty of cats to chase. its about 250 miles from the house but nice country.

It should be a good one. They both are well put together and are loud plus they have nice lineage. She and him both like to go hunting. Magnum has a cold nose so I hope he puts some of that in those pups. Crystal is pretty independent and she is still developing her mouth. She gets high pitched on track and tree but once she settles in she rolls over to a deep roaring chop like her dad. She also hunts will with Cub too. They would be a nice cross in the future.

Well it just amazes me that this Pup has already passed his First Cert. and has 2 finds under his belt at only 6-1/2 months old !!!

That is pretty impressive considering when I was training Sheba for Search and Rescue it was at least a two year time frame for you to work through the motions and get your dog certified. They were pretty impressive at how quickly she picked it up and made the find. Good nose and smart!

Anna gave birth to 8 puppies today. All tri colored I think. I will be leaving for Kenya again in January for 3 months of puppy training if they make it ok.

I believe this was the Pairing ..

Glad to see red is doin so well!! That seems pretty young but aparently he can handle his job! Way to go ally and boo!

Hope they have the same luck with their crosses over there that we have had up here! I think steve produces some major hounds and those hounds will reproduce the same!
