what happened to her tail?
Wayne, the ol girl just hangs around the yard now huh ? Them ol dogs are really special. I hope she will hang around for a few more years for ya.
JSUN,
Good question. Coyotes got on her ones night and they bit off the end of her tail. She had fang marks in her back legs and cuts on her flanks.
Justin,
Man that a good looking hound you got.
Yea she still in pretty good shape. Her mammeries sag down quit a bit. I guess thats part of getting old and having to many pups. I still hunt her. She cant run them deer as fast as she use too.LOL She trees alot of dens now. She use not to. Most of the time when you walk to her tree she would have a coon ( very dependable). I know dogs get better with each year but thats how she was.She would take them running (not trailing ) notions and get out of pocket but she was alot of fun to hunt. He calling card was being accurate and lightning quick. She was lightning quick.

my little threat pup treed three coons and a grey fox this week
My buddy was with me and he said I have never seen a fox in the tree and I said you just never had a dog that could put enough pressure on it to tree it
A good week of hunting for this pup and I am getting more and more excited about her every day.
actually to be honest its the first time I had ever seen a fox in a tree either.
it was nice talkin to yall today chris and jerry....i wish we'd of had more time to talk....mabe we can get together and go huntin some time...weve got a place in russiville we can hunt every now and then and can drive every where on a polaris ranger that would be perfect for Jerrys knee
