Let's see. 60 yrs. Recon he's a double dipper with military and Fed retirement? I hope he enjoys it. I could not have enjoyed it. I could have done it but I could not have enjoyed it. Back in 19 84 I worked for the feds when the politics changed an they had a RIF (reduction in force) even though I was on the fast track to "be somebody), we all came under scruitiny and got offered transfers to Bum-uck Egypt etc. So , we were all distraught and I looked around at my federal compadress, and figured I had a better chance of making it on the "outside" than they did. Well I said I ain't going because I got education and experience . The reason I got all That is because my pappy said to get educated because Education is "somthing that nobody can take away from you." Well that turned out to be BS advise. Nevertheless, I feel another RIF coming on, Did you hear me,? I feel another RIF coming on. So all you chicken-hit Feds go home and quake in your bed again. when you get transferred hyar , we'll make good neighbor's if you can get it straight in your feeble brain that you are just here to serve out your time and not to come around MY PLace lookin in MY dog pen. GOT IT?

I.LIYLE, ACTUALLY IT WAS SIXTY YEARS OF WORK FOR THE STATE OF MARYLAND. MOST OF THE GUYS WHO START YOUNG WITH THE STATE GET THERE 30 IN AND RETIRE. THEN THEY WILL GO WITH A PRIVATE FIRM. BY THE WAY THIS IS WITH THE BRIDGE INSPECTION DIVISION. OUR LAST DIVISION CHIEF RETIRED WITH 30 YEARS AND WAS HIRED BY THE FEDERAL BRIDGE DIVIDION.

Congratulations on your win. I saw a few minutes of the 1st quarter. Saw on the news that it was won by a late touchdown. I'm not a Ga Tech fan. The Dawgs and the Jackets don't have much love for each other.

Had a Great walk today in the morning rain. It was before the harder rain but we got soaked. I knew the day was going to stink so I decided to tire out the mutt. Worked fine, he slept all day...

LOL only when it rains. I live on the Big Slough, it is a drain from Camilla to just N. of Bainbridge where it hits the Flint. Lot like a long swamp when it is wet. I really would have thought you would have been cooler than me this a.m.

34 DEGREES HERE NOW AT 1:00 PM. LIGHT BREEZE. THEY HAVE BEEN CALLING FOR 2 TO 6" OF SNOW IN THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS. I WAS TALKING TO A GUY EARLIER AND HE SAID ABOUT TEN MILES WEST OF HERE THEY HAD SNOW HITTING WINDSHIELD AT 11:00.
