I like the HP brand. Walmart has a nice selection and I find Walmart seldom is beat on prices. I like the big screens and all you get with desktop computers. Laptops are nice for their intended purpose...to have something you can move around and take with you wherever you go...wireless and all. You can get nice laptops for a good price if you like those. We have a laptop and a desktop. Both are HP brand. I like them both but the laptop I'm not thrilled with although it is a very nice one. Seems like everyone BUT ME likes them and you can do just about anything with them you can with a desktop. Desktops are also down in price. The new computers are ALL so much better than they were just a year or two ago. Other brands might be cheaper and just as good. This was all around the block wasn't it?

We elected a new republican Governor. One Demo congressman.. which I don't have a problem with. It was mostly Republican wins I think. Our little town elected a new mayor. I'm not happy with that but I don't live in the city! Have very close connections to the City though! Had a county commisioners seat in our district that I was delighted over the outcome. I guess I'll have to live with what I dislike.

Mornin, lost the school board position by 52 votes ( closer than I really figured it would be). Susprised Gov race isn't gona have run off. Susprised Marshall lost, he is not in my district.

ok, i was on my facebook page and realized that there alot of people scared to death of prop b in mo. i have resigned myself to research and help as much as possible to get this bill repealed. so if anyone has any info about citations etc. to come, let me know. i am one heck of a debater, in college i was on the deans list. writing educated material is no problem, i am also one heck of a researcher.

Hey Everyone!

Today started with a chilly frosty 24 degrees... I figured I'd stay in with the mutt and do chores later...NOT! Dawg was a crazy fool this morning! He would NOT settle down... so OUT we went for a Brisk walk.. he was insane! Basically Jogged down the road and decided to go to the neighbors field from the back where Webster could walk on a longer leash. We ran around tail a waggin(his not mine ) lol... He was SURE he was gonna find a critter behind EVERYTHING... Brought me back to the first frosts and my old bluedawg LOVING the tracking... Never found a critter but a few new dens and some coyote poo were worthy prey...LOL...
There were NO yotes last night at the cams... and my goodies are still hanging... boring night at the cam since all the critters except a skunk and a kitty stayed in warm beds somewhere...

AS for the elections...SIGH... good old Taxachusetts... we kept a few Rebublicans and may have gained a couple but I forget... Other than that... pretty well Democratic wins. Sure hope the number of votes AGAINST the Dems sends a message though....

got such good news this morning i got to share. The test that was ran yesterday had great results. Her liver and all vitals are in great shape so they are able to start giving her tylonel. I aint no doctor but my brother said they told him this was a major step. She slept for the first time all night which is another good step. Once again thank you all for your prayer and thoughts, keep them up they are WORKING

Corky, keep some of that deer jerky for those cold nights running the hounds.

A Flowering Bush

This is known as an Angel's Trumpet. The bush is about eight feet tall. The pendulous blooms measure about one foot the long way and nine inches across. It's a gorgeous bush! Too bad the cold will soon wilt the blooms.
