Hope everyone is putting extra straw in the dog houses and giving them plenty of food during this cold spell. Haze and the others are doing well, they are dry, warm and comfy. Heated water buckets are the way to go to keep good fresh water for dogs during freezes like this. Now we are expecting a bunch of snow this weekend. I guess tomorrow night will be the night to hit the woods.

Someone should breed a female to him I know I would like a pup from him as well as the other guy who hunts with me. Hope you all stay warm this cold snap is ridiculous.

Sure Richard. He just turned 10, I would imagine he can still get the job done. Wished I had bought a good cd bred female for him a couple of years ago, but I, like most, am feeding to many dogs as it is....

There always comes that time when you have to continue to move forward.
He should have few more dogs finish out to nite ch before he's done. Stella will finish, there are a couple of more that can if they get the opportunity in the hunts this spring and summer.

There is a Haze nite ch. female with wins towards grand in Ohio that was just bred to Razor at Nevergone this past weekend. I hear she is a pretty nice female that don't come back when you cut her.

Well...the snow is about all gone and the temps are alot better. Jason and I had a pretty good hunt last night, I'm going again tonight and see what stella can round up.

Hope everyone is good and warm and your dogs have plenty of bedding. We are expecting some bad weather starting tomorrow night through Monday night. Then a decent warm up. Looking forward to seeing folks at southern days. Of course we will be at Cracker Barrel Friday morning at 11am. Hope to see some guys there.

She is out of GD RED and a full sister to the Deepwoods Rocky "Nitech Sterkis Midnight Music Maker" Let me know what you think, you can pm me or call me. I was very sorry to hear about Haze. He sure had a beautiful voice. When you get to thinking about him in the future and feel yourself getting wistful, maybe try to remember that your sadness and grief is but a measure of the good times you had with him. On balance, it's a fair trade. Given the affection you always showed toward him, I think you were both lucky to have each other.

Congrats to Clint Rouse and his nice female Anne on their 1st place win last week. Anne is out of Haze and Rose. Nice job Clint. Wish you the best going forward with Anne.

Thanks Mike. I enjoyed talking with you earlier. Annie is big female with a big mouth that will get deep and alone. She still has some faults but she's young and we are working her hard. Those Haze pups are to good to keep in the kennel.
