I am one of the Plott people who voted in the UKC Poll on the Buckskin color. The Poll was well planned and the final count served to establish the results that it was set up for.

It was a very controversial Poll and all of the older Plott men both Pro and Con knew it was a complete farce.

What many don't realize is the fact that after the Poll, NPHA dropped the NCA and went to the UKC and have been there ever since.

Does anyone today ever wonder why the Poll was run???????

I Registered my first dog with UKC in 1952; when I came out of the Army. RedBones were my first choice but I went to Plotts 4 years later and ever since have been the most satisfied hunter in the world.
