It went alot better than expected Richard. Justin and I had a good hunt, we treed 3 coons and 1 slick. It was a pretty good night and we was home by 10:30.

Didn't win my cast at Flora tonight. Had a good hunt. Fancy and the other dog that won each treed a coon, just got beat. Oh well it was fun.

At least you got off of the porch. I am glad to see you have a dog that can run with the big dogs and hold her own. There are some awfully big names in Flora this week.

Yep, it will take some luck. There will be a bunch of good dogs there. When everyone has a nice dog it just boils down to who has the best luck or breaks. People like to say that it is all about the dog but when there are 4 good dogs in a cast then who wins?
All right Justin, it has been Spring for 4 nights now. Has Clifford treed a coon yet?

Thanks Guys.

I've been trying to get two dogs ready. It's a lot of work!! Been casting two or three dogs in different directions for the last few nights. I've have walked my butt off. I'm not sure who is getting in better shape me or the dogs!! Thank goodness for my driver. He has saved me some walking. I'm going to drop off Fancy with her handler tonight, so that's one less to worry about. Tyler and I figured up that we walked about 2 miles last night going to dogs that were scattered and we cut them in all together. So we are trying!! Let's hope it pays off.

See above "rain, snow, sleet, hale, 400 MPH winds. Ol puppy aint gonna learn anything good in those conditions!

It was a close one last night. Led the cast for 1 hour 20 min, lost the lead by 25 for a short 15 min, regained the lead by 25. Then we walked in on Daniel on track and the judge minused him. He later apologized for the bad call. Tough break, oh well. Either way I'm still winning on tie breaker walking to the last tree, if the black dog got a den or slick I win, if got coon, I loose. I lost on tie breaker!!! This game sucks sometimes!!! Lol

We didn't win any big money but Bruiser, Daniel and Fancy sure did turn some heads. We just couldn't get a break. I know that Daniel lost a real heartbreaker that was all my fault on Thursday night. I cried all of the way home today. I have gotten too old and slow to compete with those high powered youngsters.
