She sure is looking good Mike. Me Tim and Hayley took Satch out last night and Tim wanted to take that pup we have out of Ace and Renae's female. We haven't fooled with him yet other than leading around the yard. That little rascal shot in there nearly 400 yards as soon as we dropped the leash. I can't remember their age but I don't think he's much over 4 months old yet. Satch finally got away from him and Tim had to go get him when Satch treed over the ridge. He acted real good and has a big booming mouth for his age and never even got one bit sick in the box, LOL. Satch had a den so we couldn't get one down on him, maybe next time.

we took my pup out today made 2 drags she found both of them she did a nice job for the first time.she have a nice Mouth to.

Ace was natural from the start he treed his first coon at 10 months old. He is a chop mouth track dog he comes on tree with 1 or 2 short bawls and rolls it over to a steady chop. Ace is very independent and loves to split trees works very well in company to . He has a nice mouth and lots of hunt and is a nice tree dog . He's by no means perfect but tree lots of coon. Come and go hunting with ace any time

Folks, this is truly a nice hound. I have hunted with Ace many times and other than what Mike has said above I will just ad one remark, Ace is very honest! He was from the git-go. I have owned or hunted with many of the dogs in Ace's pedigree and I can assure you that he is no mistake. Also at a very young age, Ace is producing some nice hounds that can win in the hunts. Remember that the all blue coloration Ace possesses is just an outward appearance. Too many dogs of the past were shunned because of coloration and folks came to regret not breeding to them till it was too late. Give Mike a call and go hunting with Ace or one of his pups, I'm sure you won't be displeased.....Thanks, Ron

renae and Ron just had surgery on my right shoulder I will be down for awhile. Ron I had a good time hunting with you and Tim and braxton.we will have to go again later mike

Haven't been on here in a while Mike. How's the shoulder doing? Man, you sure have been having a lot of trouble with those shoulders! Hopefully they will get them straightened up soon. I had a great time the other night too even though we didn't get one treed. That little fellow, (Brock) we took with us fell asleep on the way home and we had a tough time getting him to wake up, LOL. He was worn out. He sure loves to hunt.

Tim and I took Satch out a couple days after we hunted and got one up. Took that young all blue pup out of Ace and Renae's female along. He went every step with Satch and that was quite some ground to cover. We showed him a coon but he didn't show a lot of interest yet but he did mouth it a little. Lot's of time left on him. Nice mouth on that little rascal. I'm gonna try to get over soon to check on you. How's Maggie doing? Oh, by the way, I saw the wife and your two cute kids at the Circle K yesterday. Man, those little rascals are really growing.

I figured she was going to have a load when I saw her the other night. I knew she was showing big awfully early. Keep us posted.

Also, on a sad note, I talked to Renae yesterday and she informed me of the passing of her ex-husband, Tom Ehlenbach. Tom was only 58 years old and I credit him and Renae on getting me started back in the line of hounds you and I both run now. If it wasn't for the cross they made with Nt Ch Ch Ever Ready Bl Tree Huggin Slug and Davis' Forever Blue Kelly there wouldn't have been a Mountain State Big Bud. That cross is responsible for the passing of some very concentrated Morris' Blue Rive Boomer blood that not only runs through Ace's veins but several other well know blueticks throughout the country. I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Tom.
