Mark, here is a video of a 6 month old Bo x Trudy pup treed on a house cat in the yard. This is the pup that Phil picked up from you at the Fall Round up. He took her hunting last night and she treed good on a coon as well.

Mark, even after I left a reminder on here I forgot to enter and missed the deadline for the classic... waited till the last minute because I bought some land in Iowa, was trying to decide if I should spend the time coonhunting or building a hunting cabin 1200 miles from home....

Won some more $kc- Zero ( bo x Layup lucy) is now #2 in bluetick national standings and #5 overall in FL ( if no other dogs moved up)..... No dang UKC hunts around recently

bobby Cagle- Zero as a one year old picked it up pretty decent, he would run and tree but nothing really exceptional. He really blossomed in this 2nd kill season (2 y/o)... Most of the Bo dogs I'm familiar w/ are intelligent and unusually friendly with a desire to please. He is one of the most "trainable" dogs I've ever had. As a two year old, I am consistently treeing 4-5 coons a night w/ him... I usually take a puppy and turn it out w/ him ( to keep him used to the occasional junk dog at the comp hunts), they will be running all kinds of junk, but he's under a coon. He went through the normal stuff- armadillos n occasional opossum, but broke easily..

As an example of trainability, I knew I'd be comp hunting him so I trained him to NEVER come back in to me ( so I'd never draw minus points on track). When he'd come back in as a pup, I'd pop him w/ a leash and say "you better go tree". Well.... He NEVER comes back... I get him off a tree.

Them bo pups will b doing alot of winning this year. Face won the state in chkc and finished second overall. She only was hunted the last three months in chkc. I have a male that is a littermate that is real nice too. Really like what he is throwing, alot of brains and independence.

Bocephus is throwing coon treeing winners. Zero ( Bo x Layup Lucy) won another money hunt since last post, took Zero solo last night to get tuned up for truck hunt this weekend. Drop #1- Treed 1 quick (450 yards) took video, shot out coon: Drop #2 treed slick in deep water, sent him on then treed coon #2... all in about 30 min. Had to get up for work early- called it a night.

Her's an older video, pretty cool- Coon made mistake of climbing a short one.. hahah
