puppy reports

The oldest pups out of Joker are about 4 months old now. I'm getting good reports on how intelligent and level headed they are. Good kennel manners and aren't afraid of anything . Some are treeing barn cats and some have been started on sent already. They will be hitting the woods soon........ Jon

I entered Queen in a $KC hunt last night at our club. I did it pretty much just to help the club out. We drew 3 high powered walker dogs...... well she messed around and won the cast. She got struck 1st and treed by herself about 150 yards in and had the coon. We were then leash locked the rest of the 1hr hunt going to the other hounds treed about a mile from the trucks across 1 road and a river. . We got our exercise. Lol............. Jon

I entered Queen in the Wisconsin State Championship tonight. She won her cast with 650 plus 0 minus. Another cast came in with 725 ... so we will be back tomorrow to try again. All you can do is win your cast...... Jon

No Ron. The "Purina points" hunt is the Badger State hunt. That's up in Plymouth June 26th and 27th...... we plan on being there too...... Jon

Wisconsin State Championship

Queen won her NITECH cast with 550 plus 0 minus tonight. This was good enough for a NITECH win! Queen needs 3 more now. She handled herself extremely well this weekend. I'm pretty proud of her. I'm very fortunate to have 2 extra nice hounds right now. It makes a very hard decision as to which one I take to town.....
Next up should be the BBOA Zone 3 championship. Not sure which hound will be going yet.......... Jon

BBOA Zone 3

Looks like I have Greg McDowell lined up to handle Queen for me at the BBOA Zone 3 championship. He did a good job calling her at the Reunion. That team will only get better as they learn each other.

That means I'll be there with Joker. He has not been out of the kennel since the Heartland Classic 4 wheeler hunt but I don't think he forgot anything. .......... Jon

Joker is a double cast winner at the Zone 3 championship. He won 1st place GRNITECH on Friday and 1st place GRNITECH on Saturday........ Jon
