Chris and I have one of the heaviest Skuna River females bred to Whitey. This is a 2nd time cross.

A Skuna River bred pup......well here you go. Whiteys a brother to the power pack dog and is in West Tenn. Just a short drive. Ryan and Chris have made some darn good crosses the past few years.
I had one that died on me after giving her a bad shot from Tsc.
She was double smart and very athletic. She could jump up on a 55 gal drum dog house and balance herself at 3 mo old. Very few pups can do that at that age.
Ive got a pup coming from the Southern Farms Jeb dog who Skuna River running through him as well or I'd have to try one of those.

Little Peep just grand showed out tonite.

8 straight BOS to make it. We will start on the state and national tours now. She's a classy little tree dog that will fight a coon till the death. We will also start on her nite hunt title this fall. I'm not going to fight the snakes this summer. Talked to an old friend tonight at the hunt and he killed s 7ft rattler with 14 rattlers and a button .
Peep is a hard hunting little Jessie with grit and desire and is cur dog smart. 40 lbs of dynamite!!!
Direct off Lock Box by a Bone Collector female. Two of the best reproducing coondogs who will both in the Walker Hall of Fame when they pass....all of this wrapped up in a World Show Class package. That's beyond rare.
To say I'm proud of her is an understatment!!!

lol...oh man she ain't calmed down yet.

I have to run her down before a show. I've got my work cut out for me when I hit the big shows. Saw a contraption I'm gonna make and put a halter on her and run a pole out from my four wheeler and run her down that way. She's jacked up for sure. It is fun to unsnap that lead and watch her disappear in the woods. She is a get gone hunter.

Breeders I have had the pleasure of getting to know this past month.
Mike with Team Hillbilly Mac and Dennis Robinson of Swamp Music Kennels
I have watched their breeding practices ever since I joined this message board several years ago. They have been at this for a few decades and they have been consistent breeders of linebreeding their own stock and as long as I have been keeping up with them, have been leading a coondog with looks to spare and it came from their own stock.

Everybody doesn't have the same taste in hounds but these two men have never wavered in their desire to produce the best "dual purpose" hound they could breed.
I have had the same type program here myself and it was getting harder and harder to find that mix of hound that has all the traits I try and breed for. These guys have proven that is their goal and I plan on adding some of their stock to mine here in the near future.

And let me add to this....

They have been men of their word every step of the way. Sending me pics,pedigrees, videos etc and represent the Walker breed with class.
If you are close to either one of these men, I highly recommend breeding to their stud or buying a pup.
They have high standards and their proof of their breeding is in the yard and in the winners circle.
I look forward to what the mixture of our lines will produce for me here in the years to come.

He couldn't have said it any better I have had the opportunity to hunt Mikes hounds!! He is a man of his words and a great guy and knows how to breed coon dogs!!! Nothing like walking to trees and seeing coons 95% of the Time they are dogs and all make mistakes but you couldn't ask for better dogs I enjoy them and hope I get many more chances to handle nice dogs like this!!! Team hibilly mac !!!! You could breed them to a poodle and get a coon dog haha

This is why I have Dennis' breeding program in such high regard.
I called him up and said I want a male pup with blanket back and a red head, wide blaze,color down the leg and that looks like ole Martin's High Style. (I knew they were in Dennis's blood line but bout 6 gen back. His response " I've got one!". This is what he sent me. You be the judge! I'll post a pic of Ole High Style and see what you think!

He was a legend in the parts. He was raised 5 miles from me and several men saw him tree a coon at 5 months old and was adeep deep lonely hunter that always had the coon. DNA matters.

I'll be adding a couple of the best bred female pups to my kennel to go with "peep"!

Is coming from John Walkers Dual Grand Jeb dog and Greg Stull Gr.Nt.CH Mandy dog. I highly recommend you call Greg and get on the list. He's got 9 and last I heard there was only 1 or two that mite even be available. I'd get on a backup list if you have to. John's Jeb dog is one of the best coondogs I ever walked behind. He's in the top 3 and the other two were twice his age.
