Good race

Had about a 3/4 mile race Wednsday night. 26 degrees and a full moon, got one put up on the outside. Jack and Pepper did a great job. If I could hear and old bad track get heated up and treed like that every trip out, I'd be a happy hunter for sure! Love hunting the rut!

Perryman's Blue Jake

This was the first houng I bought from Jess Rogres. Jake taught me a lot about hunting pups! He had a good nose on him and would show you a lot of coon on mid January nights like we're having right now. Just bred him twice but got outstanding pups from each litter.
NITE CH Perryman's Blue Bluck & Perryman's Blue Daisey was from Jake x Casey
Doolittle's Ramblin Jim was from Jake x Lady

Steve, thanks for your help. I guess Mike bought both those females. Anytime I can return the favor, please just ask. The old Vaughn/ Arkie females seem to be crossing well on Mike's Jack dog.

Had a quick hunt the other night. I'm really proud of Pepper. She's maturing into a dependable coondog. She took a track away from Jack, got treed, held pressure and had a big boar on the outside. I'm looking forward to making that cross in the future!

Arkie bred pup

I just bought an Arkie bred pup off an artificial breeding on a dog that the guy said was supposed to be the tighest bred old arkie bred dog still in circulation. I dont know how he is going to turn out, but ive got him anyway.

Ive just got the puppy papers right but Ill see if the guy I got the pup from will send me the ped on the tight bred Arkie male dog that the semen is out of.

I dont have it in writing yet, but he told me on the phone that the dogs name was Pine Log Blue Ugly and was a double grandpup of Lazy J Blue Arkie Chief, which made him a double great grandpup of Horse Branch Blue Bawler and Bio Blue Penny, He said Bawler was out of Arkie, and Penny was a grandpup to him, should be good stuff form what I gather, he said the pedigree was almost all ntch and grntch dogs with no littlejohns arkie outcrosses, sure enough the original Tahsudas Arkie stuff, We will see how it goes with the pup, maybe it will make it.

BIG JAKE

Hello, Steve I have start hunting the male dog off Daully x Lula cross he is now to years old he got a late start because of me not hunting him but he is coming along really good I think he will be the dog to take Tombstone III(Nitro) place time will tell. I named him Stewart's Big Jake.
