dozer

finally got to hunt dozer Saturday night! 2 inch of snow on the ground 20 degrees he treed 2 real quick and a little deep, been hunting pups, what little I got to hunt so it was nice to turn him lose! he sure did it fast, I have year old female out of the rusty and rabble cross that's making a real nice tree dog a little independent and hunts a little to hard, but I like her! happy new year!! and good hunting.

yes Stacey we can go you might want to bring you're ice cleats and you decide if you need coveralls or chaps, don't thank we'll need frog legs not much open water, might need a sled so we can get the coons we tree out, other than that it probably wouldn't be much fun with the 1 inch of ice and the 10 inches of snow on the ground!!! LOL what a winter!!!!!!

jim how boomer doing? just wondering about him it hasn't been a good kill season!

Posted by JKumberg on 02-08-2014 01:04 AM:

Boomer

He is doing good, my son keeps him at his house, he works for MODOT plows snow, so Boomer hasn't got out lately.

I did see him do some pretty good work in December, the last time I hunted with him I believe we treed five that night. He opens a lot on track, has good speed, fairly accurate, OH YEAH he hunts very wide, .

boomer

wondering were he get that hard hunting from!lol you going to put him in the hunt this year?

Posted by JKumberg on 02-08-2014 01:54 AM:

Boomer

I will be attempting to finish my ntch female out to grand first. Once I get that done I will start on Boomer next. I expect that he will do fine. I do need to get him out with some strange dogs and see how he handles it.
My son has put all the time and effort into him, and he really likes him however he doesn't care for night hunts so he will have to wait until I get to it.
To many nice dogs to hunt them all, best problem I've had in years. I'll try to get up that way for a hunt this spring and let you see him go, Jim.

jim

Sound like good problem to have, let me know these spring I'll try to come you're way to get to hunt with him.thanks you Jim for putting the time in on a dozer pup!

Jewels

Hi Spencer, Just to let you know Jewels will be at the Purina Nationals on the bench in April. I think I'm going to let Doug show her.

Doug is going to have Jewels at Palmyra also, he's going to hunt Blade. Are you going to be there?
