I'll scratch my dog and go home. I have been caught away from the truck a few times during a bad thunderstorm. I didn't like it one bit. Some believe coonhunters are crazy to start with. Hunting during a thunderstorm is a good way to prove it.

It really crossed my mind Dennis, but trucks were not close and Becky and Echo were through the country so it wouldnt of did me any good. This was the first drop and after that the skys cleared up and the coon moved real good. Had 675+ I think and another cast had 850+ that night.

Zeke was the smart one Mitch. He was looking for cover. We had a enjoyable hunt after that though.

He will be 2 end of May. Stayed out of trouble and got split a couple times. So far has been good about being accurate and not covering empties. I'm happy with him for only being his second hunt.

Layed a drag today for pups. They are 5 months old and did a nice job. Pup with red collar is a female off Jet and Mindy III. Pup with blue collar is a male off Jet and Mindy III. Pup with orange collar is off Jet and Mable.
