D & JRoy got in the final four two out of three nights this weekend @ The Jasper Jamboree in Ridgeland SC and won his cast Saturday night but didn't have enough to get in .... in UKC & PKC Lil D has won the last 15 out of 18 cast he's competed in he's a cast winner no doubt and all but two were plus points he's also a COON TREEING MACHINE..... He also won two out of three in Goodsprings Ala the other week....

I havent been around any Big D pups but my own, I was wondering what traits seem to be common in D's pups?

Mine is a trailing type dog that gets open quick but honestly, is the best track driving pup i have ever hunted. He can strike a cold track, get it up, and moving quick. He is a little slower to come treed but when he does he holds pressure and is accurate. Hes far from a coondog but gots all the tools.

TRAVIS I TALKED TO DONNIE RAY PEYTON YESTERDAY AND GUNSLINGIN DEMON HAS WON 3 OUT 4 CASTS IN THE LAST COUPLE WEEKS. HIM AND THE MAGIC PUP WE SOLD RANDY MORGAN SHOULD BE REAL CLOSE TO THE LEAD IN THE JR BREEDERS STAKES STANDINGS. BOTH NICE PUPS OUT OF BIG D.

The Big D x Ann cross was one of the best crosses on Big D
Doubling up on the Bellar stuff should really work. You can't argue with the past success. Bellar stock wins and tree coons.

Big D and Joplin cross

Is all I can say is don't underestimate this cross. You will see what I'm talking about this time next year. Elvis, I will get up with you and we will bring sally up and let you watch her. She got deep by herself and all along last night putting it on two nice hounds. Had the coon both times. This will hopefully be the last time she's hunted with a dog in a long time, Dad kid napped her and took her back home, lol. I'm starting on the one that looks like Janice Joplin now.


The Gabby cross looks like a good one, let me know if you guys have an extra female pup and see where Im at on getting these other ones trained. Take care and thanks a bunch for you and Russ allowing us to get some of your guys blood in our kennel.

I am hunting a D pup for Troy Ferrari out of Troys Flic female,that is a WOW female.13 months and will have a pup night every once in a while but she is usually on and gonna be darn tough to beat.Likes(loves) to be by herself.And is looking for coons near or far.Watch her on the Garmin and there isn't a spot left on the forest floor left unchecked,man is she busy.Tasmanian devil style not just snuffling along.
