I wouldn't call any one cross with Bullet II the best. Unlike some crosses that just seem to click more than others, Bullet II has produced many litters that all of them that were hunted made average to above average hounds.

It's more of a "pick your bloodline you like best" with Bullet II. I like the Bullet II x Twin Springs' Misty cross because of the hounds I was fond of behind them. 8 out of 9 pups made it in the woods out of the first cross and I am sure some were better than others.

Update

Congrats once again to Josh Risinger and Nubs on getting another NtCh win on Buster(Bullet II x Ormistons Shine) this past weekend. I think this gives him two now.

Also would like to congratulate Trey Hobbs on another win on his Candy(Cl.Rv. Diam. Jim x Hobb's Peach Pie) female. The few time I hunted with her she was real nice. Sure is a looker too.

crossblues

they like the cooler area of the kennel. mainly during the hottest part of the day.

put some deisel fuel around the outer perameter of the kennel they do not like to cross that line. make it a foot wide. snakes do not like the smell of petrolium. the odor will stay a long time, the grass will die. and it will not hurt you dog any. Dont put it in his nose though. you know what I mean. you got to use some common sence and logic there.

I used to work at a chemical plant. I had to deal with naptholene a lot. NASTY stuff. It came in big railcars. It came in frozen solid. We had to hook up steam to the bottom of the car and let steam run through it for 2 or 3 days. The way i had to check to see if it was melted all the way to the bottom was, climb up on the rail car, use a big monkeywrench and a short handle sledgehammer and loosen about 25 or 30 big bolts. Check to see which way the wind is blowing and then open the top. One time the smell hit me in the face and I felt like i had been punched square in the nose. AWFULL junk. I hated that job. I mean i hated that job.

Lee,

got the certificate from UKC friday, it is official Lexus is a nt ch. Couldnt be happier about a female. She is nice. Wayne Cline also finished a pup out of Lexus to nt ch, he was 1 year and 10 days old. I think she will have 1 or 2 more before fall.

Bullet throws reproducers along with coondogs and thats what it takes to be a good stud dog!!!!!!!!!

Lee, I took Tex out last night. He done a very good job on a coon. Went hunting good all himself and run a good track way in there. Got treed and had the coon. Took me about 30 minutes to get to him. I guess he's over being sick. LOL I don't realize how far I'm walking to the dog when i start cause I'm not used to owning a dog that loud. Now when me and my buddies go I'm perfectly comfortable to sit back and listen from "way back here at the truck". LOL LOL I figured he'd have a good mouth but I didn't know it would be like this.
