Made it out again last night with Lytle & Roxie. This dog just gets better every time I see her go but Lytle needs to fire me & get a better cameraman lol. Roxie started this track from almost nothing & made it a celebration at the end. Lytle she did a great job. Also got a call from Jeff Marshall he said Gunner had a good night the night before treeing 4 times seeing 3 coon. The 4th tree was a big hemlock & they just couldn't find the coon but if I know Gunner the coon was there.
Pic's of Roxie

Roxie

I have not had time to get on the net in some time, sorry for that . I took Roxie out to night and she is doing a nice job. I was hunting a side hill that was fill of apple trees and hard woods with a bever flow at the end off the hill. There was a corn lot on the top and I put Roxie in the spring runs at the base of the hard woods. She put here nose in the wind and stud on here hind feet. She then took of like a shot in the dark! It was not long be for she opened up with a deep long ball. She ran track with a long deep ball for about two minits, and then come treed with 3 loud long balls and strated to rorer!! I wish I had a video camra to night, the coon was about 8 feet above Roxie's hed in a apple tree. I could have goten the coon and Roxie in one clip. But O well it was great just like that. I took her out about 3 nights back and the first drop she treed and had 3 coon in one tree. The 2 drop she treed and had 1 coon and I called it a night. So she is well on here way to makeing a vary nice coon dog. Well untill next time my God bliss and happy traning from Northern N.Y. Hounds Lytle Stackhouse and the Home of House's Night Stalken Roxie.

jeff

Thanks jeff, Roxie is doing a good job and the pup out of guner that I have is growing varry well and looks just like Stalker. The pup that todd has is a little biger and has already came unglued on a caged coon, he showed me the vidoe and it was vary cool all kinds of grit. As for my pup I do not show pups coon untill they are about 12 months old, just my way I guss.Season is right around the corner, I will look you up for a hunt thanks Lytle.

Very nice, I like to see a good tree dog. Old Stalker can reproduce real coon dogs. I would say Crook,Gunner, and Roxie would make any one happy to lead in the woods!Crook looks very nice, good job with her.

Posted by Lytle on 10-29-2010 04:51 AM:

I just got in from hunting Roxie and what was meant to be a exercise time for my 4 month old pup out of house's gunner. I let Roxie go and she went hunting and before I know it my pup went right with her, now as some of you Know I like to start a pup when they are between 10 and 12 months old, so I did not see this coming. Roxie treed in a apple tree behind a creek and when I got about 150 yards from her that 4 month old pup that has not ever even seen a coon or smelled one for that matter was treeing about 70 yards behind Roxie just balling for all he was worth. This pup had a coon in the tree!! If you want a blood line that start's early and is a tree dog with big ball mouths get a house bred Night Stalker pup or grand pup and you will be happy. Roxie and Gunner are litter mates out of Stalker. My pup is out of gunner and the botum side is Skuna river bred. Jeff you might have your Self a stud dog on your hands in Gunner. Roxie and Gunner are out of Grand Night ch NEOSHO RIVER JESSE on the bottom side. Happy hunting and my God bless you from Lytle Stackhouse.

Roxie is being hunted at my father in law's house. He own's a dary farm in Georgetown N.Y. and is an X compotishtion hunter that is going to hunt her untill deer sesion. He went with me one night and said he would like to hunt that dog on the farm and finish her out. I am going to start on my pup and get him going. He got a phone call at 6:00am from the naber saying she started treeing at 3:00 am. But my father in law said she had the meet! lol I will call soon I hope Jeff.
