Thought I would let u know he is doin alright.Alot to learn..Spent hour the other night tryin to catch him when he was 20 yards away..Dogs never struck anything..Coons not movin..Went again last night..Struck one bad track out of 4 drops..Got under a coon, he was there but couldn't smell it..Then he decided to play catch me again...Another hour then I had enough and shocked him till I could get my hands on him..Been workin with him every day on handlin him but, haven't seen much progress in the woods as for as catchin him...We will see..Cold weather is killin the huntin for young dogs..will keep at it...later

COLD & SNOW

Has killed us this winter we have had over 2' of snow & ice I have picked the nights for these young dogs to leave here with Josh u cant do anything with a young dog on these bad nights or Ive never seen it done.

Remember how I was telling u I caught him the only night we took him I just got Tank out of the box & he came rite to me then.

I would wait till better weather to try & hunt him we had to leave our young ones home alot on these bad nights this winter I know what can happen & it take 6 months to yr. to get them lined back out.

Hes the only pup that had not been hunted out of that litter due to my health & having 2 other young ones & Josh hunting dogs for some folks ((BUT)) I bet he makes it I sure would pick & choose my nights or we do with young dogs thats FIRED UP.

Keep us posted any night.

TDK, why yes those pus are lookin good. As for the mister reproducer coment i agree with you 100% . The definition of reproducer is if the hound produces as good as hiself and or BETTER ( witch is every breeders goal) then i belive your correct. I can only hope lightnin is a reproducer aswell witch it is lookin like it by the way thes pups are turning out, oldest litter being ready to hit the hunts soon. Ed has put his heart into trying get the best reddog he can in hopes that someday a reddog winning the ukc world. Not saying this will happen but is a goal. He also prides himself in that his hounds tree with the meat. All this is what sold me thats for sure. Ed has has bred, raised, trained top compition hounds in diferent breeds his whole life. has also won major events on a national level.(facts)And from what i under stand some top big game hounds aswell. Ed heres to you buddy, keep up the good work! thank you for lettin me get my pup.

i just got my tv fixed so i can surf the internet on it. you should see the video of lightin treeing on a 27 inch screen with surround sound......a whole living room full of TREEPOWER. my new favorite channel.......craig

It got in the 20s here today if I felt good I would try & cut a couple Reddogs loose.
