Hi All!

Corky, Praying for Joes Wife! Praying for ALL out there too.

Thanks, our anniv, celebrated last night when I came home was nice. Bob liked my gift to him and he got me a local blueberry pie, in a Tin and painted me a cute pic...lol... on aluminum foil for the appropriate gifts for the 10th anniv (tin or alum) We had fun...and ate too much pie..and I had more for breakfast...lol...
Nice pix and stories and jokes and all that... I was going to be so good and recall all of it...but I've forgotten. I recall MOLLY TREED A COON! Yay Shannon! BB got Autumn qualified...Mike made NICE dog pens etc... ROb played it safe and took CARE of that KNEE(GOOD for you!)... someone has a tree full of peaches(so do we! Tiny ones but hanging on!), Someone had rain.. today we had MORE than I had ever seen at one time! AMAZING rain! All sunk in now but we got a tiny bit here and there in the basement. Amazingly... ALL the severe storms split and went over one of Bobs work buildings...but NOT where he was today wtih MY FatBoy! He was bone dry when he got home! lol...
Shoot... I forget any other catch up... OH.. someone is enjoying the cool nights? Va blue gal perhaps? OH and the walker female who's name escapes me right now looks Great!
LOL... Have a great night, I'm gonna TRY to catch up on all the other forums...... AKkkkk! HappyHunting!!!

Heather some how I missed saying Happy 10th anniv. must have been a guy thing hope you had a Happy one birthdays anniv. I miss all the time my old lady (wife) gets on me all the time for that but I must admit if it was not for I would never remember anything like that she says I have selected memory because if it involves hunting you never forget

Man, I wish you could send some of that cool weather down here. At 7 this morning,it was 72. Supposed to get to mid 80's today. Guess that is better than what it was week before last.
Corky, them DO look like some good eatin'. One of my favorites-along with butterbeans.
Rob-how's that knee doin'? Hope it ain't too bad.

I'm leavin' for Bridgewater,Va. early Friday morn. Hope the weather up there stays cool like y'all say it is. It'll be my luck tho-it'll be back up in the 90's when I git there.

shaw72 i have been doing well, had a cook out with my bear hunting gang this past sat., cooked 62 elk burgers and about that many dogs and lots of trimmings, sure am enjoying this cool weather. 89 softball teams from 20 states in town for girls fast pitch ball, think i,ll take in a couple of games, sports complex is only a mile from house. take care ----- see ya

Hey gang 75 and brezzy. Took the two girls last night and hafta say one thing , Thank you vabluegal for saling me such a wonderful puppy. She was first strike and tree last night. I had my boy and his friend with me and when she struck, she was off. I said ohhhhh nooo. Than sammie jumped in and up the creek they went. 450 yards later wham. One biggin and at least 3 little ones. Lovely night.

Knee feels good for the most part. Has its moments. I can feel it is week. Probably need surgery. You can keep that darn heat where ever you are.

Rob- I'm still here in Virginia Beach. At least 'til Fri. Lookin' forward to movin' up near the mountains. I've always wanted to move out that way.
Take care of that knee. I remember a few years ago me and a buddy were coonhuntin' one night.We were headed to the tree and I stepped into hole of a rotted out pine tree stump. I hyper extended my knee. Man,you talk about hurt. Thought I was gonna need surgery myself,but it healed up after a couple weeks. It's still a little tender tho. If you do need surgery-- good luck to ya.

Sounds like a great night.

I have been working on finishing the kennels. I almost have one dog/welping box made. Never realized how big a 48" by 48" box really is. Think the other two will be smaller. I have the back on hinges in case I get sent to the dog house then I can fit in.
Yes it was alot of work but I am sure it will be worth it. I always wanted a raised kennel. The dogs are not real ahppy with no mud and dirt to lay in but they get the dirt in the evenings.
Once I get it finished I will post some better pics.

I ran my weedeater, used three tanks. Nice to have it done before I mow.

You are correct, the mountains are great. I would not change them for anything. Sometimes it will get rough at night hunting. And then the snow. Well I still like em.

Boss cooking corn on cob, grilled chicken. Sliced maters. Gotta go.

COOL Tarpon. My dad used to tarpon fish. Makes me wonder what ever happened to his mounted Tarpon? Wonder if mum sold that after he died at some point? Not sure?
NICE day here! Went for a long wander with the mutts in the aftn and just enjoyed it out there. It is GLORIOUS right now... smells like hunting weather. Was FINALLY dry enough for Bob to get ALL the mowing done and MOST of the weedwhacking! WHile he was whacking he got the grill going and we had burgers.... I had a double.. it was juicy and PERFECT! All the rain has kept us from the grill.... and SURE did grow the grass! lol... The poor tomatos look pathetic...
Well... I did my best catching up...lol.. but HELLO to all my friends and Prayers to ALL in need!

This is baby Kaylee. She is showing improvement. She was taken off the ventilator today. She is now breathing on her own. The blood clot on her brain has gotten much smaller. All the prayers are working. It is a miracle how far she has came. Praise God. Thanks everyone for the prayers.
