Just went out and checked rain gauge looks like 3/4 of an inch. Rex how much did you get? Not enought but better than nothing. Water standing in holes in creek now.

Good Mornng! Had company last night oldest boy came over to mooch a meal. I slept in!! Rex haven't seen deer one around here for a while probably hanging out down at river since creeks are dry. Chuck are you leaving today or tomorrow? Mike is probably sleeping in too.

Good morning everyone.Accurate report starts now. Made are first dump at 7:15pm dogs went in 285 yards opened up and went another 200 yards and locked a tree down. Drove within 135 yards of them and took us a little while but finally made him look. Walked back to the truck loaded dogs up and headed for the second dump. Dogs loose about 8:05pm and went in about 125 yards and struck. Had a nice corn race. Made a bad loose and next thing we heard the both came on a tree and locked it down. Walked in about 150 yards and there the coon was. Went back to the truck and called it a night. End of accurate report. I had to stop one time to get my air. It is 50 degrees here and slight breeze. Nippy has I call it. They are talking about a frost maybe next week.

Sounds like a good run. Won't be long and you can take those coons out!!! It is supposed to get pretty nippy next week. Calm here this morning but supposed to get windy should take off a bunch more leaves then maybe you can go squirrel hunting.

Sounds like you had a couple of real nice chases,that always makes some good memories !! Linda wife couldnt get today off so we leave in the morning ,,i really wanted to be there today too,,,,,oh well ROADTRIP ,,fall colors,coonhunting ,prospecting for gold and best of all we get to see some really fine folks !!

I'm in early ,got goofed up on my hunt,had to guys looking up a doe..they came off the neighbor's side,didn't bother me to bad..they said the neighbor called my house but no one answered ..at least they called..I seen the doe go by with 3 other deer ,I seen she was lagging behind ...we walked over to where I seen her .sure enough there was the blood trail. she walked up over the hill to the road I have running through the woods ..made it forty yrd.'s across the road and expired.. ,loaded her up on the end gate .we took her to the neighbors and they gutted her out..wind is fierce here this morning..sounds like my kinda hunt,Mike...Chuck sounds like a fun trip..

Trimming trees again with the chain saw. Climbing extension ladder with a chain saw in your hand is rough. Still got it though.
