Friday Night and 5 Cooners

In my books there's no better way to spend a Friday night than with these 5 Good Cooners .

Coons were stirrin good and had some good runners ,,,,,

a boys night out.

Ken Hitchcock & Huck soaking their feet after two days of hard long running.

John Gill and I took a trip up north last weekend,we sure had a great time.We seen some good ol cold trailing from Ken Hitchcocks Huck and two young hounds.they made a jump and got this big nasty boy up a tree about 5 to 6 miles later.they managed to get a few more turned loose. I can`t wait to go back. I think I might be hooked.

Bear hunting with blueticks is fun! My first bear hunt was with Billy Dereswevski up in Maine and I loved it. Sure miss my old buddy and hope to get back up there sometime and visit. Glad you and John had a good time. We will be camping this year at autumn oaks so come visit.

They are tree dogs for sure, It sounded like a roar at the tree.
Ken, Thanks for the offer I would love to make the trip back north. I think I counted 16 hounds in camp that had EBJ in the pedigree some multiple times. Thanks Again!!!

I`ve been real busy and not on here too much.
I have made a few crosses on my young EBJ male I call Jim. One was with Emmy she is off of Upson s Rocky and Yankees Blue Diamond.
Larry Anderson owns Rocky and Mike Fairchild owns Diamond.
I have 1 female and 2 males not spoken for.

The next litter is Jim and Top Notch Lou.
Notch is off of Kid and Lou. Notch is a very nice tree dog she has split and held pressure with the coon. She started quick. I think both litters will have big hound vocals.
I think both litters will make nice balanced hounds and be good around the kennel and people. This is first time crosses. I wanted to give Jim a chance to see what he is going to reproduce.

I have pups from Kid and Croix, I have female`s left for sale. Croix `s sire is a littermate to Ginger who placed 2nd in the world hunt. her dam is off of Tree Daddy and a Stinger female. Fegans Blue Sis II.
This is a triple Tree Daddy, Double Stinger, Double Sadie Mae cross. This is some of the most concentrated blood of my best crosses. I would like to see these to go to coon hunters, but I think they will have the get up and go to run what ever you desire to start them on. I first hunted with Croix when she was 10 months old and then some how I ended up getting her bought. What a true Blessing for me. She is a Loud High pitched mouth female strikes up quick and drives a track to catch. She has a loud high pitched locate and a hard loud chop on the tree. When the wind is blowing hard away from you she will be the first one you hear treed. Croix is one of the best looking female`s I`ve had here. 400.00 female s only.performance paid pups.
Pups will be ready to go mid November.
I ll be posting on the puppy page soon. Litter born Friday oct 3rd.
All my Kid pups are guaranteed to run and tree by 12 months old with other hounds. If not I`ll replace or refund your purchase price. pup must be in good health and not ill treated in any way.

Don't know what it is about this tree daddy hound and full moon nights that keep producing big big coon?? Lol he just keeps hooking trees that have the jumbo size coon in them ? May help the tracks are 4 to 700 yrds long not sure but Im going to keep him in the timber!

hey matt.

sorry to bust your post like every year but don asked to post pics of our first day of deer hunting.

don shot huge bodied 4x4 as snow started this morn. i got 5x4 little while before don, my buck even bigger body. we were hunting bout 4 miles apart. lots of deer movement today. we didnt get to hunt hard as had to work a 100 head feeder cattle and feeding everything. put don to work. LOL. having great time and got bunch of snow now and wind roaring. couple more tags to fill and gonna hunt awhile in morn then back to taking care of critters on farm.

hope all is well out that way, with coonin and hounds. i hunted couple nights ago in minus 3 degrees with 2 old dogs and a pup. treed 2 singles, was proud of dumb dogs. later, matt.

got the big boy today.

today weather horrible. cold, wind, all the good stuff. didnt see but one skinhead all day up till 4pm. started patch hunting. little island of trees and weeds along bean field and pasture we stomped through and kicked this one up. standing corn to north. got him rolled on running shot through the trees. was probably lucky... LMAO. great hunt with great friend don. buck tags full got couple does to go. late 60s ruger bolt .308 with redfield scope is for sure favorite rifle after this year. LOL.

mama and caden were more excited than i was!

Cowgirl has a beautiful litter of pups. 10 males and 2 females. I was hoping for more females but this is what we were blessed with. Cowgirl is a great mother and the pups just turned one month old.
Beautiful litter I ll try to get pictures on here soon. I do have a few male s left.
