Ball team goodluck, have fun. I remember my little league and senior league all star days. Played several different teams. Had more fun then as to playing in high school. To much pressure to win and practice there.

You are right .. The older the more pressure and then it's all on who you know ... Not how good you play .. I shake my head at high school ball .. It was the same way when I played high school ball .. And it make my heart sick .. The boys are enjoying themselves !! Most parents would think they are to loud but it's music to my ears and joy to my heart to know they are happy and I'm apart of a memory !!!

Maters... we have a few lil ones almost red!!! TOns of lettuce... the basil is doing GREAT! Not so much on the squashes...
Was a good day today here, cooler. Grilled fish and got to sit outside to eat! Nice...till the skeeters came...lol... I did next to nothing.... good lazy day. Still couldn't sleep...... I will eventually! lol... Right?

I think I forgot to say anything about your knee! Fingers crossed for you! Hope they just need to go in arthroscopically and shave some cartilage or something simple...or perhaps REST etc... to heal it would be even better! I had mine done yrs ago... took out scar tissue, shaved a bit of ruff cartilage and they did some tendon changes in mine too to make the kneecap track right. Healed in no time! In my case it was PERFECT and AWESOME... till my kneecaps both hit the dash in my accident...LOL... OOPS! Now they are trash but with my limited exercise I'm cool!

Hi everyone !!! The game was very exciting !!!!! We were stuck at 4-4 for a long time !!!!! .... I couldn't sit any longer .. So I stood the rest of the game ...!! Lol.. We won .. 15-4 .. We play again on thurs. night .. The team we play that night is going to be something else !!!!!! Those boys are huge.. We are playing Martinez, ga .. Nationals... Martinez has so many kids .. They have 2 all star teams... It's my home town team .. Lol .. So everyone start your praying now ... Lol .. Then ... I believe we head to savannah if we win thurs ..

Dave - nice pic of your granddaughter. I will be glad to have you and Wendell come up in November. I already have my vacation approved and I currently have 3 empty kennels.

Rob - I have had my left knee scraped 2 times and my right knee scraped once. All 3 of those surgeries helped.

Little bit of rain here today here and there. Some of MA had tornado warnings. Not near us!
Another lazy day for me here. Picked berries in the wicked muggy heat...and JUST about the end of my picking I fell flat on my face! LOL... I had seen some bittersweet...Bob's evil prey... he is actually going to weed Mums on Friday since HE is so good at finding it... WELL... I had forgotten to tell Bob about it....till I called him from the rasberries patch... to help me get up! LOL! THe bittersweet had wrapped around my ankle..but I still had my cleats on my boots(I was too lazy to take off)....and it had hooked in and I was pretty helpless. I was NOT going barefoot thru the thorns! lol... Bob saw the bittersweet and looked like a murderer!

He tackled that job and moved on to the next vine.... and I got away with all my yummy berries! COuple scrapes, bruises, stains and a lil hole in my pants....lol....

It was Postman Pat's last day on the job after 35 years of carrying the post through all kinds of weather to the same neighbourhood.

When he arrived at the first house on his route, he was greeted by the whole family there, who all hugged and congratulated him and sent him on his way with a gift cheque for $500 .

At the second house they presented him fine Cuban cigars in an 18-carat gold box.

The folks at the third house handed him a case of 30-year old Scotch Whiskey.

At the fourth house a blond in her lingerie met him at the door. She took him by the arm and led him up the stairs to the bedroom where she blew his mind with the most passionate love he had ever experienced.

When he had had enough they went downstairs, where the dumb blond fixed him a giant breakfast: eggs, tomatoes, ham, sausage, blueberry waffles, and freshly squeezed orange juice.

When he was truly satisfied she poured him a cup of steaming coffee.

As she was pouring, he noticed a Five Pound Note sticking out from under the cup's bottom edge. "All this was just too wonderful for words," he
said, "but what's the fiver for?"

"Well," said the blond, "last night, I told my husband that today would be your last day, and that we should do something special for you. I asked him what to give you.

He said, "Screw him. Give him a fiver."

The breakfast was my idea."
