Vabluegal & Corky you'll keep it down there. We been getting rain but nothing hard. Got the grass cut this morning. Hopefully we make it to staunton for the fireworks. Hasn't been the same since the statler brothers stop playing.

Good night every one !! I hope each and every one had a great 4 th of July !!! It was a wonderful one !! Spent the whole day with all the children and grands !! Mom came over to Jonathan's to and stayed all day !! I just took her home .. I soo enjoyed her !!! It's been raining ... Raining ... And raining here !! We did get some fireworks !! Thanks gosh no one was hurt .. Men and fireworks don't mix !!! Lol

Good evening everyone. And again hope everyone had a safe and wonderful 4th. It's been hot and humid here today.

Not much going on around here. To hot to hunt are fish. Plus the ponds and creeks are to high. Kathy has to work tonight and drews at a friends house so its me and my daughter. Going to record the race tonight and me an her are going to hit some back roads. She always takes along her camera and gets some good pics.

HappyFriday!

Had a nice quiet fourth here. Grilled some dawgs and atem with some beans, watched tv and heard fireworks thru the windows...lol... Also decided at the last second to take the berries Bob picked for drinks...and bake em in a pie. We had a YUMMY Mulberry black raspberry pie. Ate more than half last night... and it was finished for breakfast... HOT AND MUGGY still here! Blech... I"m sick of it now. TOday I decided...I'd like a BIT cooler and DRY for a spell.
Made 2 keylime pies this morning to bring to mums on sunday. They don't look as good as the last...hope they taste ok??? We'll see.
SOrry you guys are getting so much rain! Glad you all had a Good Fourth who did... and hope you all have a great night! Not working at all at mums but will be there for teh evening on Sunday.

Good morning. Hot and sticky with a chance of rain.

I lost a good friend last night to cancer. Larry was 49 years old. I am asking for prayers for his family.

On a happy note, I am having my annual family reunion/cookout today at my house. We usually have around 100 people in attendance. It will be fun but I sure hope it doesn't rain.

Good morning friends !!! Another long day .. Baseball Practice at 10- 2 .. Then off to dads for a fish fry with his brother from TX .. Dad has caught 450 PDs of catfish on his fishing trip and a total of 1100 pounds total with his friends !!! Lots of fish !!! Yay yay !!!
Then Sunday going to my family reunion 2 hours away to see all my sweet family on my dads side .. Love them much !!!
Next .. Monday traveling out of town to Christians ALL star game .. First game Monday at 6:00 .... Next game tues.. At 8:00 ... If they win both games ... I'm not sure where to next .., lol !!
Busy busy busy !!

Vabluegal sent youll a email. Took ally out last night. Her first track from beginning to end with the meat. She ran it about 250 yards. So proud of her. Walk threw a couple of deer with no problems.

Shawn .... The baby is simply amazing !!!!! Sweet little boy !!! Thanks for asking !!! Also thanks for the blessing at the games !! We need all the prayers we can get !! We just got home from practice been there since 9:30... Back again at 5:00 .. Then to dads for fish fry !!!! Yay ...
But Shawn ........ You don't know humidity until you come to GA !!!! It had rained every single day .. It rained out practice a little while ago .. HOT & dang HUMID !!!!!

Hello everyone else. We are ALL sharing in the heat and humidity aren't we? BLECH! It was GROSS today here. I went berry picking and... got a bit overheated..Blech!

NO PIE left... BURP!! LOL... Tasted the keylime pie(scraped off a tiny bit) and I THINK it's gonns be just fine for the fam. gathering tomorrow for mums bday. Thank goodness. Bringin her zuccini, lettuce, wildflowers etc... lol... SHould be a good time and we'll see the BABY again! lol...

Thanks everyone for the well wishes for the party and the prayers for Larry's family.

The party went well. We had one heavy 20 minute shower. It could have been a lot worse.

Shannon - I waited up until about midnight then I just couldn't stay awake any longer.

Heather - what kind of berries are you picking?
