I am proud to announce that I bought NITECH I Love Lucy from Jamie Snyder. Lucy is double Jet 6 Again bred, she just turned 2 and is a nice young female. She's been in limited hunts and qualified for the World and won Queen of Hunt at the Roberta,GA BBCHA Sectional this year. She also has PKC money won.

I've hunted her for the last week and have liked what I've seen.

My plan is to finish Lucy and at some point breed her to Brummy.

Blue Iron Crack The Whip

Whip's continuing to make progress here in South East Georgia. Wish i could have gotten him to a hunt this weekend but we had alot of other things going on here. The plan is to finish Whip to Nite Ch and breed him to a couple females and see what he throws, while finishing him on out to grand. He will be hunted at the Grand American this year as well possibly the Winter Classic, and Hopefully Bluetick Days. I feel like he will have something to offer to the breed.

Darren, there arent many that do go as hard as his daddy. Ive seen him cover a half mile in about 10 mins without a bark get struck and be treed fairly shortly after that. Most of the time he's struck way before he can get that far. I wouldnt say he goes as hard as Brummy just yet, but he doesnt mind getting deep and alone.

Shannon, I'm as excited about the Jolene cross as any I've ever been a part of. I like the sounds of Jet 10 and Brummy 2 having the same mama!

I sure am enjoying this cold snap we're having. Coons are stirring good and we aren't having to fight the bugs and the snakes anymore.

Roho Carlise in west GA has pups due in about a week off his Kate female. This is a second time cross. All the pups off the first cross that I know of are running and treeing.

I'm going to meet Zeb Myers Sunday to get our Polly female to breed, she started bleeding last Sunday. Polly is a granddaughter to Dancer and double Jet 6 bred on the bottom.

Curtis Todd and Shannon McCracken are bringing NITECH Jolene to be bred, She started bleeding yesterday. Jo has been bred to Jet 9 twice with excellent results. I'm super excited about this cross. Jo is off BoomerXRuby.

Curt came up this weekend to hunt and hang out. He was also excited to show me the progress that Whip is making. Whip impressed me, I like him. Goes hunting good, is a good strike dog, knows how to move a track and is a for real LOUD up on the tree, tree dog. He's still got some learning to do but he has the potential to be special.

We cut him loose with Brummy 3 times.

The first dump he treed a coon on Brummy.

The second dump he split with a den, Brummy had a coon.

The third dump he split with a possum, Brummy had a coon.

We cut him loose with Lucy 2 times.

The first dump he split with a coon, Lucy had a slick.

The second dump he and Lucy treed a thick hard to shine tree together.

We cut him 3 times alone,

The first dump he treed a possum.

The second dump he ran a deer.

The third dump he treed a coon.

Until this weekend he had never been corrected on off game, Curt doesn't have a shock collar. We asked him with my collar to not tree possums or run deer and I think he's starting to understand! Curt hunted him alone last night and he went 2 for 3 and didn't bat an eye at any trash.

Thanks ya'll. I've hunted with him 3 times in the last month and he's gotten better each time. Curt is doing a great job bringing out his potential.

Brummy's Blue Iron Swag

Got Swag (Brummy X Daisy) back from Zeb Myers on Sunday. Took him last night and he done a nice job. Cut him loose and he starts hunting right away, and don't waste no time. Swag was a very early and natural starter. By far the easiest pup that I have ever trained. I hope to be hitting some hunts with him real soon, I feel like he is very capable of being a big winner! Time will tell!

For those that dont know, Swag and Whip are littermate brothers. Glad to see he's back in Tennessee Dwayne! The Brummy X Daisy cross really has been a good one. Last I heard The Yo Ho female I raised and trained is still doing well in Iowa. These two young hounds are going to make a good showing in 2014 i believe! Whip and I are going to start 2014 off at the Grand American. I sent off his entry fees and forms today to hunt both nights.

Glad you're liking her Ron! Curt gave her a good start and you're finishing her on out. She was probably the most naturally tree minded pup I've ever seen. I watched with my own eyes the first time she ever smelled coon scent at about 10 weeks old and she ran a drag and treed her brains out.
