I took Jim and Diamond to a show and picked up 35 points with Jim and 25 with Diamond.Both are nice almost 13 months old.
I`m excited to see how they do when I get serious with them.
Both matured real nice and i`m pleased so far with them.
I took BJ also and picked up a ch win on the bench with her.she is out of Kid and Fly.

I had a call from Mr.Kooser he has Bandit out of Kid and Sunni he says Bandit can push a cold track and a LOUD LOUD Tree Dog.Billy, says as soon as the weather breaks hes gonna try him in the hunts.
Billy,bred his Maggie female last year to Kid, pups are 7 months old, big mouth male puppy running and treeing striking most of the tracks quick and a accurate locator. Good Luck with your Kid prospects.Thank You so much for letting me buy Kid from you.Kid is reproducing some outstanding offspring seem to be balanced in every department,awesome mouths on them.Not hard to look at either.

congrats on all those wins!!! I know u have to be very proud of all the different studs u have used to produce such well balanced hounds for our pleasure as future bluetickers, just want to take the time and say thanks for all ur help in the last few years I have been working ur breading of hounds. This has taken me down new roads where I believe I can leave a solid foundation for my son and fellow young hunters!!

You have to turn them loose and give them a chance.I know you had three out of my yard and two turning out and the third just love to run.The guys that know me I love to hear a good race.

Ellis Blue Jim was open mouthed hound and had a good nose on him.when we lost him we just drove a round til we found him.Good thing gas was around a dollar a gal.he would be treed somewhere and have the dirt at the bottom of the tree wore down from treeing so long.He sometimes would be sitting down treeing.
I`ve had some good hounds out of him and tried to breed a good solid foundation of hounds around him.I had a few setbacks getting a few hounds hit by cars.Most of the hounds in my pedigrees i`ve been in the timber with them.If I made a cross it was to build on what I had.
Prolly Stinger was the hardest treeing hound i`ve had here and he had heart.he did on many ocasions slam dunk coon right in front of us or be a mile in in just minutes.I remember when Turbo Blue won King of Hunt at the Ashland hunt.Tom Jennings pulled in with Blue and I grabbed Stinger,this was the first time Tom got to see Stinger go.Stinger looked great I think Stinger was in on 6 coon and Turbo Blue 3.Tom said why isnt he a grand.I was always nervous to turn him loose Stinger could be deep in no time and roads didn`t slow him down.To be honest not many Bluetick men would feed him he was to much hound for most.

Tree Daddy was a big wuss and wouldn`t stayed treed with a mean hound.we hunted pups with him he was our pup trainer or if dogs were treeing something off he might come back and sit at your feet.He Loved getting split.Tree Daddy would tree those laid up coon quick and could smoke a track.he hunted where you put him and I really liked that.Tree Daddy would clean a woods out in a hurry if you wanted to take hydes.I like breeding strentghs of one hound to the weakness of another.
I like my hobby of raising hounds,What I really like is showcasing my hounds and when one of my hounds gets first and first and has a coon its a real rush for me.The biggest thrill is when my hound is way out front of the race and I tree and the tree gets closed and all the hounds are sucked into the tree and have the meat.I like breaking that dagger off in them.I really love to pleasure hunt and I hate turning a hound loose in a nite hunt I really hate it to be honest.But Thanks to My good friend Tom Jennings dragging me and encouraging me is really the only reason I started going.
Hounds are a big part of my life and i`ve met a lot of great people and a few not so great. Just like hounds.
Along time ago like early ninties.
I heard that a man had a mean hound people was talking how rough he was.Had me scared to turn loose with him.well I decided to see for my self this hound made GRNITECH at 25 months old.so I called the guy and the president of our coon club and I all went on a hunt 3 big males.we made 2 trees and brought the hounds back to the truck and poured the hounds a bowl of water and all three drank water at the same time from one bowl.this was the the mean rough hound that kicked their butts in the hunts.So Men don`t beleave everything you hear.seeing is beleaving.Alot of Jealous people in this world.

If i`m paying a entry fee you bet i`m gonna be packing something that will get the job done.Like I said I hate entering up in a nite hunt.

Jill is a sweetheart and one good looking hound.what a cross her and Jake.
I want a picture when you come get her. Its hard to imagine of having 3 grand pups of Diam Jim in my yard in 2014. Jill was my pick in the litter of EBJ and Star.Les changed his mind at the last minute and I ended up with Fly and she was a natural from the very first track to the tree.I never had one more natural than Fly.
Its a beautiful morning, gotta get outdoors.

I made the trip to Ashland Spring hunt and I had a great time as usual.
I entered Luke both nights.He is a real nice hound he needs some hunting on him and me getting used to his mouth and we will be just fine.he has a impressive mouth on him and he is a big baby.
Other than taking a swim friday night it was a good time.sure good to see ol friends and meet new ones.
Its getting dark so I gotta go.Thanks for the call s today.Take Care.
I do think that my Powder female did catch so we be having some double Stinger pups coming.

Matt, I wanted to tell you, the best cross I saw made with Jake, was Jake X Bakers Kandy. Those pups were awesome! They were outstanding big game, and coonhounds. They were cold nosed, and track driving machines. They were tree dogs too. It would be really good if you could cross him with some Ellis' Blue Jim up tight. I promise, you wouldn't regret it. I ve been keeping a few hounds inthe timber and I took Zeb for the first time.
1st time I ran kid since Orangeburg.He sure makes it easy and I appreaciate him.Kid is a very sweet hound and Kid is the nicest hound that i`ve owned and I feel alot of people are missing out not putting him in their hounds.
I sure have had alot of success with these hounds and right now my Ellis Blue Jim male I call Jim is one of the nicest young hounds I have right now and he may be one of the best young hound to come through my kennel.He has all the tools to be something special.

Craig Kandy was a real reproducer and the cross of Nitesongs Blue April and EBJ made a believer out of me.I heard Jake was a real nice hound and I bet these hound could stroke a track like I like one too.I keep hearing Mr. Baker say listen for the ( Jake Break)..Wayne love to hear him roll it over on a tree.He he he.alot of my knowledge came through Wayne and Evert Dalton.
Craig,I sure hope we get two litters off of Jake.I hope they meet our expectations when they are finished.

I sure like seeing the pictures of these hounds on these threads .

The EBJ hound on there Stinging Blue Jim looks good to me.
you will never have to worry about hounds sitting at your feet breeding to stinger or Ellis Blue Jim hounds.

still plugged with snow here and sick of it waiting for spring to get these hounds out for some long overdue running.

Thanks and they have been looking good in the timber.Solid foundation of hounds.The main thing is giving them time in the timber,turn loose time.It sure was fun turning Kid loose he is a special hound.Ive been at this a few years and out of all the hounds i`ve raised here he is sweet all around.

I heard your Diesle male treed his first coon for you.I love his mouth.I think if you get behind him and give him a chance he could be something special.Diesle is a hard hard tree dog.I see your male being a balanced hound off of Fly.Fly started the first night I took her to the woods and she started as fast as any i`ve had here. Luck with him this litter should be solid cooners.

Good to hear from you.This winter has been bad all over.You can load your hounds up and come south for a night or two. Bring ol Super Fly down you ever get the notion of breeding her or one of her daughter s you should concider Kid.I know you would get some good hounds.Your right about EBJ and Stinger alot of good hounds came from those two,not bad for just being avg hounds.

Thanks Guys for the call s and updates.Powder is getting bigger every day. I`m excited to get these double Stinger s on the ground.Powder has only been bred one other time and far as I know all her pups are still living and making real fine hounds.I ve only ran Kid a few times this spring and man do I miss running him.I`ve been fooling with young hounds.

Skipper has just come into heat, and my plan is to breed her to my son's Male. The pups from Blue and Pilot turned out to be well above average Big Game hounds. Skipper seemed to be the better Big Game Bear dog of the two, so am excited about this potential cross.

I m glad she worked out for you.The Stinger x Fly was a special cross.Some of the best track speed I ve seen in any breed.Can you send me pictures to my email address of the two.I know John Gill had pups from Abbey and these pups are tall straight legged extra nice feet with big lung space,should make for some good runners.Good Luck should be A nice cross.

I havn`t been getting on here a lot.my first litter of the year was born saturday double Stinger pups off of kid.
It looks like Ken Hitchcocks Jill is going to have Jake puppies.Dean at Nevergone is diffently good at what he does.
I would like to hear about kids offspring if you would like to share,I would like to hear about them.
If anybody would like to come over and see some of my hounds go give me a call and we`ll set something up.I run 3 to 5 nights a week.so you won`t be putting me out.

We have 5 beautiful male puppies off Kid X Powder.They look real nice look like they are gonna be on the lighter side like Powder and not as much black as Kid.I`ll post some pictures soon.

My pup off of Kid and Mae (Zeb) is looking good in the timber and on the bench.He has a big beautiful bawl mouth.he just turned 6 months.

This is Sully`s Blue Sebastians Shadow.
She is loaded with Sebastians Penny and she has a litter of pups off of Bud who is off of Stinger and Fly.same cross as John Gills Abbey and Mike Fairchilds Slewfoot.Bud is a bear hound and is owned by Ken Hitchcock.

Damon,I look at Diesle as a stallion of a hound.He sure has all the tools and then some.He sure loves kids and women,what a tree hound.hope to see you soon.good luck with him he is a head stong hound thats forsure.
My Kid pups are sure growing and getting darker.I have good homes for three.I`m not a big hurry to get rid of them yet.they are fat and sure love to eat.Powder is a great mother.they will get the first 5 way next week.
Thanks for the calls and seems like i m on the phone more and more everyday.I enjoy talking hounds to you all.The leaves sure turned on quick here.I hope to see you all at Bluetick Days this year.
